Our stay at this delightful cabin on Elk Creek was in the end of October, 2025 and part of our 40th anniversary celebration. Travelling along the Great River Road from southern Wisconsin, Eau Claire was to be a layover spot as we had planned to take a day trip to the northern tip of the state and visit some waterfalls. Jolene is a superb host! Her communication with us was wonderful. While we were in route, she reached out to check on our arrival time and sent me additional directions to the cabin. We arrived at dusk and immediately felt so welcome. Lights were on in the cabin and there was a fire burning in the gas fireplace in the living room. It was at that time, we decided to change our plans. Rather than spend our first day travelling, we opted to remain at the cabin and enjoy everything it had to offer. First this place is adorable! So cozy, comfortable and beautifully decorated! The cabin is located on a creek that winds through the property. Very private and quiet. The outdoor firepit was so nice. Its a great place to enjoy the evening. Plenty of firewood and firestarters were provided! The cabin was immaculate, and it had a fully stocked kitchen. In addition gas and charcoal grills are provided. I highly recommend Lil' Kickback On Elk Creek and are looking forward to visiting again!
