"Le propriétaire peut être fier de son gîte. Tout était parfait et de très bon goût. La literie 5 étoiles, la piscine de fou avec tapis course, courant de nage, jets massants... Très grande et belle salle de bain. Le plateau du soir est délicieux. Un petit dej auprès de la piscine apporté par notre hôte. Quel accueil, quelle bienveillantes attentions ! Mon conjoint m'a dit y avoir vécu son plus bel anniversaire "

"Le logement est très joliment décoré. Tout est propre.Il est bien équipé pour cuisiner.Il dispose d'une jolie terrasse avec vue sur un canal du marais. Et on peut partir directement de la terrasse, en canoë, pour parcourir le marais (en toute sécurité avec gilets de sauvetage, bidon étanche). La terrasse est équipée d'une porte vitrée avec moustiquaire. Idéal pour aérer la nuit. Mais malgré la présence de l'eau, j'ai dû croiser un moustique ! L'endroit est calme. Le lit est confortable tout...

"Un véritable coup de cœur ! Ce logement est un petit cocon, décoré avec soin et très confortable. Tout est parfaitement pensé pour que l’on n’ait qu’à poser ses valises et profiter du séjour. L’équipement est complet jusque dans les moindres détails. La literie est excellente, la piscine est un vrai bonheur et la guinguette apporte une ambiance vraiment exceptionnelle. "Great location to access Calais Plage and the Eurotunnel. Clean and comfy and very pleasant staff. If booking via Expedia be aware that most people (including myself) were under the impression they had already paid but hadn't. Payment is taken on arrival which suprised me and the fsmily in front of us and many other customers according to the lady on reception. This is an issue with Expedia booking process though and not the hotel itself."

"Lovely modern and refreshed room. Nice view out to the water. No noise from outside when the windows were closed. Excellent amenities .. bathrobe, slippers, kettle and tea and coffee. Plenty of space and the bed was comfortable. Had a good nights sleep. Staff were pleasant and made you feel welcome. Free parking outside. We arrived when market was on so had to park a 5 or 6 minute walk away but that wasn’t a problem. Close to the square and beach. Would recommend and would return again if I was staying in Calais."

"We enjoyed our stay at l'escale. The room for 6 people was large and clean with comfortable beds and a lovely view of the marina. It was useful to have a fridge locker that we could use free of charge. Free car parking was also very helpful. The staff were friendly. It was an easy walk to the stunning beach or into town."

"Staff orientated us well. The pool was deep, so if you are taking young children they will need a float. The room only has coffee and herbal teas so if you want English breakfast tea bring it separately. Lovely clean and spacious well kept rooms. Very comfy beds. Lovely balcony. Gorgeous breakfast. Lots of choice."

"On arrival the chateau looked beautiful. It’s a really authentic French experience. Check in was smooth and the grounds were beautiful. We were only here for a brief stop off. Not too much around the area in terms of provisions but we had eaten before arrival and the resturant looked lovely. We had a drink in the bar area and that was nice and quiet. Would recommend to others clean, comfortable stay in beautiful surroundings."
