The municipality is a state-recognised resort in the immediate vicinity of the Müritz National Park, a paradise for water sports enthusiasts and nature lovers. Enjoy your holiday between water, wind and waves and unwind in an unspoilt natural landscape. With its shallow sandy beaches, clear water and cycling and hiking trails, the Müritz offers the ideal conditions for a unique holiday with the whole family. The marina flats in the harbour village are located directly on the banks of the Müritz with a view of the marina and a lake canal, right next to the Müritz National Park. The very tastefully and comfortably furnished apartment is located on the 1st floor and can accommodate up to two adults and one child. The apartment is modern and cosily furnished and offers direct access from the living room to the south-facing balcony with a view of the marina. Here you can start the day in peace and quiet with a cosy breakfast or end it with a relaxed evening meal. Garden furniture and parasol are provided for you. Afterwards, you can make yourself comfortable in front of the gas fireplace in the living area. Two Smart TVs are available in the apartment. WLAN is available to a limited extent (approx. 4 GB/day). The kitchen has a high-quality ceramic hob, freezer compartment and extractor bonnet. The holiday apartment has a bedroom with a double bed. There is a children's sleeping area on the sofa in the living room. The harbour village has a very good infrastructure with its full-service marina, the Captains Inn restaurant, the Pirat's Bar and its own mini-market. There is no shortage of leisure activities. With around 400 berths in the marina, water sports are at the centre of the action. The harbour village has its own passenger boat jetty and its own stop for the national park bus and is located directly on the Müritz cycle route (112 km). In the surrounding area there is an aviation museum, a donkey farm, several castles and manor houses, a climbing forest and waterside waterskiing and kitesurfing routes. If the weather turns bad, there is a thermal spa with a water slide and saunas in Röbel, around 15 kilometres away. Thanks to the excellent location of the natural landscape with short distances to Waren, Rostock and Neustrelitz, nature lovers have a wide range of options for individual leisure activities. Boats, kayaks and canoes can be hired from the marina, subject to availability. Die meisten Wohnungen habe. Einen schönen Blick auf den Bootshafen. Trotz gut gefüllter Liegeplätze war es nie laut. Schade, dass es im Hafendorf keinen Bäcker gibt, bei dem man morgens ordentliche Brötchen holen kann, nur aufgebackene vom Lädchen, die uns nicht ganz zugesagt haben. Das Captais-Inn ist ein nettes Restaurant, alternativ gibt es an der „Promenade“ zwei Verkaufswagen mit super Fischbrötchen, Burgern, frisch gezapftem Bier und Cocktails, welche als Sundowner die am Horizont über der Müritz untergehende Sonne verabschieden. ##### Torsten H.
