"The hotel is in the middle of a renovation so it was a little rough. I'm sure that once it is fixed up and updated, it will be a nice hotel. The bed was very comfortable.
The staff was great to work with. When we arrived to check in, our room was not ready and so the front desk person got us a different room right away. However, there were a couple of times when we went to get something from the front desk, no one was there, and we had to wait about 10 minutes for someone to return. Another time we just called down and let them know what we needed.
There were a couple of things that I had to bring to the staff's attention; the microwave did not work. The refrigerator kept defrosting the freezer part and the water would collect on the bottom of the shelf, making whatever we put on the bottom all wet. The air return vent was rather dirty and needed to be cleaned and the filter changed.
The air conditioning worked great and kept the room comfortable. Breakfast was also good with coffee, juice, the standard eggs, bacon or sausage, waffles, cereal, bread for toast, peanut butter and jelly, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, and bagels."
"The room was very clean and the bedding had a fresh scent. The lady at the front desk was very helpful. Our room was on the 2nd floor, but she realized we needed a room on the first floor."
"We loved our stay! It was perfect to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary. Bigger than we expected! Private and beautiful. Make sure you follow the host's directions to get to the cabin. Coming from the north, the GPS took you up a very steep gravel road with big potholes. The host's directions provided a much smoother route! Hughly recommend!"

10/10 Excellent
"Pictures do not do this place justice, it is absolutely gorgeous. The 5 miles of gravel road isnt the funnest, but is completely worth it when you get there. The entire place, inside and out was very well thought and done, from decorating to building! Then the bed porch swing being able to relax on and listen to the flowing creak water was refreshing. Highly recommend!"
