(New faster border channels were completed in December 2019). Villa Olive is just a 7 minute drive from the beautiful beaches of Srebreno and Milini and the fabulous jewel of the Adriatic, the city of Dubrovnik. The historic city dates back to the 7th century with its prominent surrounding walls being a highlight for visitors. The walls have been a popular filming location for the fictional city of “King’s Landing” in the television series, “Game of Thrones”. Our local, 13th century, walled town of Trebinje is a historic delight to explore. The piazzas and cafe bars nestled under the great “Platani” trees are a great place to people watch and enjoy a coffee or ice cream. There is a newly opened Water Park and in the evening “Vukoje” winery, with a rooftop terrace and restaurant offers diners great views over the town and river Trebisnjica. The town has something for everyone. Further afield in Bosnia, Mostar and Kravice waterfalls are a fun day out or why not travel further afield to the Fjords of Kotor in Montenegro. Staying with us enables you to visit 3 countries in one visit! Due to our location and no public transport, car rental is essential. THE SPACE The private villa is part of a small family resort and proudly commands magical views over the mountains and the valley to the Adriatic Sea. Villa Olive provides a quiet and comfortable ambience for those who seek some quality time with friends and family. Beautiful mountain and sea views are best enjoyed from the impressive infinity pool (9mx4m) or Jacuzzi and extensive terraces with an area to BBQ, dine Alfresco or to relax on the sun loungers and outdoor sofas. Pool heating is included in the cooler months but in July and August it can be offered at £15 per day. The Jacuzzi is heated all year round to the temperature required for your comfort. Please note the pool will not be filled from end of November until beginning of April, as it is not possible to heat in the winter months unless requested. Olive sleeps up to 8 guests comfortably with 2 Master bedrooms en suite and 2 further Twin rooms with adjacent bathrooms. Additional guest bed, sofa bed and baby cot available upon request. There is also a further WC and shower by the pool. Living accommodation is modern, spacious and open plan, with air-conditioning, internet access, satellite TV and a DVD player. All the above just 14 km from the Dubrovnik Airport and 4 km from the beaches. GUEST ACCESS The manager will be there to meet and greet you. However, for the late arrivals, a key safe is available, with code and contact numbers given after booking. We have also designed a brochure that is updated annually, tantalizing you with ideas of places to visit, complete with maps and directions! Places that are a bit off the beaten track and that the regular tourist won’t know about. We have ideas and tips for excursions, beaches and restaurants and sporting activities that have been recommended by the owner or previous guests. Ideal pool-side reading! The owner will not be on the premises whilst guests are staying but there will be a property manager to meet and greet you and answer any enquiries. OTHER THINGS TO NOTE All linen is included. Bedding and towels changed on request or after a 1 week stay. Bathroom and pool towels are provided but NOT beach towels. Price includes service/cleaning charge. Plus we offer a complimentary 2 hour mini housekeeping service once per week, servicing the kitchen, lounge and bathrooms. On request we can provide a full single pull out bed, large baby travel cot, high chair and baby car seat. We can also offer a babysitting service, if staff is available. There is a small additional cost charged. IMPORTANT TO NOTE OUR ACCOMMODATION AND LOCATION IS NOT SUITABLE FOR THOSE WISHING TO PARTY! There are a number of properties here run by Boz holidays and they have staff on site most of the day, Sladjana was very helpful during our stay and the pool /hot tub was cleaned every morning. We had expected to be hopping over the border a fair bit but in reality the time to cross the border can vary from 20 mins (fastest on the way back) to just over 2 hours (longest on the way to Croatia). This meant we tended to cross only once a day. We visited in August - perhaps this is a very busy time.- most times it took over 45 mins to cross the 2 checkpoints. There is not much to do on foot around the property. There is a tiny but useful store’Bonita’ you can get essentials from. The cafe at the bottom of the road did not serve food. The other restaurant that was in walking distance was closed. This left us with a small drive to the petrol filling station where there was a restaurant or about a 10 min drive away there is a popular rustic restaurant called Drijen. This was excellent and extremely inexpensive. Further afield (25mins drive) there is Trebinje. Here there are a couple of large supermarkets and local restaurants, banks etc here. In Croatia, Cavtat was our favourite place, it had a nice vibe and felt more like a holiday destination. We also did a great boat tour and the zip line which everyone really enjoyed. Kotor Bay is a must visit in Montenegro. It is stunning. ##### david h. Perched up above the Croatia/Bosnia border the views across to the bay are stunning particularly from the infinity pool. Inside the villa is well equipped and extremely comfortable with excellent bathrooms and decent showers. Communication with Sara the owner and the concierge staff during our stay was very efficient. An excellent base for exploring Bosnia, Croatia and Montenegro. Very easy journey from Dubrovinik airport and villa is close to a number of beautiful bays in Croatia. The villa is very well equipped and the Boz Holiday team are very welcoming and helpful, doing all they can to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. The visitors and welcome books are fantastic, so helpful with planning activities and restaurants to visit during your stay. The surrounding beaches and towns are “picture postcards” and the sea is crystal clear. So many things to do and see. The villa is in Bosnia and to visit Dubrovnik or beaches you do have to cross the boarder to Croatia. At times this can mean a delay in journey time, but if you know this and accept it, the villa more than compensates for any boarder control inconvenience. ##### Phil L.
