"The Carriage House was perfect for our stay in Raton. It was clean and well supplied with everything we needed to cook our meals and relax after being out hiking and photographing. The neighborhood was quiet which was important since we were out making night sky images so needed to sleep in the morning. Communication with Nathan was always timely and pleasant. We look forward to staying here again next time we are in Raton."

"This is a very old motel and not well maintained. For a few more $$, I’d go somewhere else. "

"The property is pretty cool and because of it’s built it’s like walking down history. The house is what you see. The steps kinda creek as you go up to the second story but it’s just its authentic feel and vibe. Not gonna lie at first my wife was a bit scared she felt it was kinda creepy but it’s just cause the town is not what we are used to and it’s a bit less habited. The only thing I wish it did have was access to the kitchen. For example if you were doing a long stay y oui may want to cook something. We were just there as passing the night before getting to Colorado for that it was perfect cause we just had coffee and sandwiches in the morning before leaving. Overall I did enjoy it and the first floor is filled with great art."
