"This is an amazing hotel with unbelievable staff. If I had to make one suggestion, reserve a beachfront room on 2nd floor or above to avoid the crane view. Other than that, AMAZING!!!"

"What the listing doesn't tell you is that there is a wonderful outdoor space right outside your door (literally) including sofas, a big dining table and a grill......and that you cannot use it if the upstairs is rented. So, for the first 3 nights is was great. We had our little studio with the outdoor area. With 4 people that was really great. The clothes dryer was not working so being able to put all 4 wet beach towels and 4 bathing suits out to dry really helped. Especially since there really is no room inside for the shower towels and hand towels to begin with....for 4 people.Our 4th night was terrible. The upstairs was rented. Music and walking around heard real well until late and then early morning. No more outside area to use and trapped inside the small studio. I did not go to California to be stuck inside. Luckily, we were leaving in the morning. The upstairs renters also get a garage full of games, corn hole, paddle tennis, football, frisbees. These renters complained to the host that our vehicle was parked in the driveway so they could not park. Well, it wasn't in their way to park their vehicle-they wanted to set up game time. They played games all evening right next to our vehicle. The beds were super comfortable. Very clean overall. Host was accessible as needed. There are many thoughtful items around and well decorated. The A/C is wonderful. A fan or two would be recommended not just for cooling, but to drown out upstairs noise of the renters if needed."
