Wonderful and relaxing view of Lake Michigan from the deck and through the large windows.
The house has plenty of room to stretch out . Very well stocked with everything you need.
The appliances were quite outdated but we really didn't care. Everything worked fine. It was kind of strange because the second bedroom wasn't available to us. It must have been under construction but we didn't need it. The best part is the location and the view. Just as described and even better. I'm concerned because it doesn't seem to be available to rent in the future. We would love to come back and are hoping it will be available again.
Clean and well appointed property. Quiet location. Scenic views. Very private area.

Clean,quiet and relaxing .
Spacious area with a private beach. The deck was great for watching sunsets and I loved the outside patio in the back. We were packing up the car and the boys(the dogs) turned around to go back to the cottage. They wanted to stay and so did I😀
We love this camp! This is our third year staying for a week, and we didn’t want to leave. The cabin is not fancy (orange shag carpet), but the location is wonderful. Beautiful sunsets and a lovely breeze, rocks/beach glass/fossils to pick, trees to hang a hammock, AND they allow dogs! What more do you need? Can’t wait for next year! 👍🌅❤️
My wife and I have never been to this area. We found the house to be excellent and clean. Well equipped kitchen, beautiful deck with water views, check in process was easy and the mgmt company responded to several questions very very quickly.
Grocery shopping at Meijers in Escanaba was a large convenient plus. Ice cream cones for lunch at Garth Gas/Grocery was a treat.
Highly recommended

Lovely Location, Great Layout. It would be a "5 Star" with a Little Maintenance
Really liked the location and view. You are nestled in among some cedars with lots of wildlife around you and centrally located for exploring the Hiawatha National Forest. Kitchen has most everything you need. But the screen door to the deck is a mess, the window in one bedroom isn't there (just the storm), and somethings just need repair/replacing. This gem needs polishing.

Long weekend near family
Location of the property was beautiful on the lakeshore. Inside of the cottage was clean. Comfortable place to stay.
Enjoyed the location, was able to sit on the deck when there was a breeze to keep the bugs away, and enjoy the view.
However, I had brought my dog, of course expected to pick up after him—-rather difficult when the grass was very overgrown. The overgrown grass also contributed to the large number of mosquitoes on and around the patio entrance, which was the entrance we had to use.
Management tried, but was unable to get someone to cut the grass on the holiday weekend. They were very responsive to that and other minor issues.

Great for the price
Not too shabby. A nice place for a reasonable price. The beach was much shorter than we originally thought, but the boys and the dogs had a blast anyway. The cabin was nice and clean, but does have a little bit of that damp smells to it like some other reviewers stated. I'm only taking one star away because there were many dog poops from previous vacationers. I ended up cleaning up after my dogs and then some... Also, there should be an instruction on how to operate the entertainment system. Overly complicated tv set-up with like 5 remotes and a sound system receiver.
It was exactly what we were seeking to get away from the city. The wildlife was so abundant I couldn’t believe it. Every night we could see a few does and fawns in the yard. The sound of the bay was beautiful and the breeze from it was spectacular. Cooking dinner two nights of the stay was something we had never experienced on vacation but it was so nice. We were able to visit local meat markets in nearby towns and it was a great experience. Plenty of boat ramps close to the house, and a light house at the end of the road was a cool adventure. Walmart and meijer plus a variety of city amenities were within 35 minutes of the house so that was convenient for us. The neighbors to the house were very nice and welcoming in passing but overall the stay was secluded and quiet which was great. I would stay here again and again when going to the UP.
We had such a nice time at this home that we will be back! Our cabin was a nice older home that was perfect for us and our dog. The beds are quite stiff, but I’m picky and we always bring our air mattress just in case. We actually set it up in the living area at the windows and was able to see the stars at night. So serene. They had a keurig on site, cool, except we brought ours because I’m a coffee snob and used ours instead. It was really awesome seeing all the deer by the house, and eagles. We really enjoyed our stay here and will recommend it to our friends.
There was a small charcoal grill there, but watch out it can fall apart real easy! It did so when we moved it away from the house to grill, but we worked with it anyway.

Walleye Dream
We had a wonderful family vacation this past week. We were a little nervous based on some of the other reviews, which is why I am leaving this one. Yes it is a dated fish mounted typical UP house - which is what we expect and love about our trips up north. The beach is great for skipping stones and swimming and kayaking (bring water shoes though it is rocky). A boat launch is 5 minutes down the road (got to Farmers Dock) and easy for our 18 1/2 foot Lund to get in and out and we caught 26 fat walleye that we are still enjoying. We did not see a trace of any mice, and yes we blew the fuse in the kitchen when running multiple electronics but it takes 2 seconds to flip the switch and get it going again. The washer and dryer are brand new and was great to go home with not a single load of laundry. We had campfires and watched shooting stars at night and rested in the hammock during the day, went tubing, hiked the lighthouse on the point and played football in the water. Additionally the management team were absolutely wonderful when we had a question they responded immediately. Lastly it is centrally located about an hour from all kinds of attractions like Marquette, Pictured Rock Boat Tours, Fayette State Park and more. We are 40, 39 and 8 years old and this was the perfect space for my family.
