Come enjoy the peace and quiet of this remodeled home in a canyon setting, conveniently located minutes from various trailheads, multiple lakes, and endless scenic roadways. Or just enjoy a peaceful walk or bike ride from your front door down the scenic Cleghorn Canyon. This location is also just a couple of miles from Rapid City's downtown including parks, restaurants, breweries, and shopping.

Most of this cozy house is located on the main floor which is accessed from a natural stone staircase. The basement which consists of the laundry and plenty of storage can be accessed through a walk through door at ground level or the interior steps that are a bit steep, but very solid.
The house is fully furnished including towels, linens, bath essentials etc. The kitchen is also stocked with all the dishes and utensils one should need plus a few cooking ingredients. If you prefer cooking outside there is a gas grill with all the necessary tools needed. Enjoy the air conditioned comfort of this home in the reclining couch or chair while watching tv on the 50" smart TV. We provide internet but no cable TV.
We also have a small horse pasture that is available upon negotiation.

Pleasant Little House

We didn't spend much time in the property, but it was nicely setup and comfortable. The area is really nice and feels very secluded even though it is a short distance from everything in Rapid.

Scenic and restful

Dad and I found this home to be a great place to put up our feet after long days of taking in all the area sites. The house was clean and had everything we needed. We will check availability the next time we are out this way.

Cleghorn Canyon Gem

Tucked up Cleghorn Canyon, this gem of a house is a perfect setting for a relaxing time in Rapid City. While technically in the city, don't be alarmed if a small herd of turkeys or deer saunter through the yard. We look forward to staying here again.

Quiet getaway

The location has easy access to downtown coffee, dining and whatever. It's very quiet with turkey and deer in the driveway. It is very clean and has comfortable beds, but bring your own coffee. :-))

Honeymoon Trip

The house location was fantastic! We saw deer everyday in the pasture and the neighborhood was quiet. The lock didn't like to cooperate so took several tries but it worked! Not sure where a 5th person would sleep, but the beds were very comfortable and the hosts were very accommodating! The central location to all the tourist sites was great!!!

Rapid City - Little House

Recently remodeled 2 bedroom house. Pretty good location for visiting the Badlands and Black Hills area. We spent 9 days and were able to see all the major sights in the area. The house has a nice size living room, small kitchen and laundry on the lover level. It was very clean. It is a quiet neighborhood. We would stay there again.

Great location in a quiet neighborhood. The interior was clean and appeared to be recently upgraded. We liked the wooded setting and enjoyed waking up to 4 or 5 deer in the front yard every morning. Overall, a very satisfying stay.

Cute little house close to Rapid City

We enjoyed staying in this house while in Rapid City visiting family. It was very clean and comfortable and the hosts were responsive. I appreciated the laundry in the basement. Super close to Rapid City a quiet location.

Great Location

This was a nice comfortable place to stay and was a very nice location for our travels. We originally planned for 5 people to stay there, but ended up with 4. If you do have 5, it could be a bit tight unless you have very small children.

This property is in a great location for seeing the Black Hills sites. House is located on a no outlet road which meant minimal traffic and quiet. The inside of the house was immaculate wirh the feel of a newly built house. Owners are very responsive to answering questions that were submitted. Great place and locatin.

As always, the stay at this lovely home exceeded our expectations. The owners are the most kind, accommodating, responsive people!! The home continues to be clean, comfortable, and cozy!! The beds and bedding are top of the line!! The towels are luxurious and they even have soft blankets for snuggling while watching a movie!!Everything you need will be there for you. A five star rating all the way around. Magnificent hosts who go the extra mile to make your stay welcoming and comfortable!! From the moment you open the front door you will find that they have thought of everything and then some! We have truly found a gem and will be back for future visits with fingers crossed that it is available!! Meticulously clean, excellent bedding, comfortable furnishings, absolutely everything you need in the kitchen, a lovely neighborhood and yard, and host thoughtfulness around every corner!!!
