The steps leading upstairs are very steep and narrow (because they’re original to the house), so if you have small children or limited mobility it would not be a good option, as the bedrooms are all upstairs. As a digital nomad, I do long term stays at various rentals. This charming, old home, was a gem. I don’t give 5 stars easily; I’m very particular about clean, amenities, furnishings, etc. This place had everything in it. The location was near everything (I walked everywhere in town). The hostess was kind, thoughtful, communicative and organized. If there were anything I could “warn” potential guests of, I would. I got nothing. The unit was very clean, the kitchen was well-supplied for cooking, the beds were very comfortable. Location was good, with proximity to downtown and easy access out of town tourist locations.It should be noted that, for someone with any mobility issues, there is no easy direct sidewalk access from the available street parking. There are about 15 stairs to the bedrooms on the top floor and they are very narrow.One bedroom has its own bathroom. The second bedroom does not and requires going downstairs for the second bathroom. Neither bedroom has a closet for hanging clothes. We did find a portable rack in the closet and had to put it out in the hall so both bedrooms had access.One bedroom had no curtain on one upper window, allowing light in during early morning sleep time. We had to cover it with pillows to avoid waking up early.If you can live with the few limitations, this is a pleasant place to stay. ##### James M.
