Originally, we booked a hotel for our 9 days in Rapid City, to do the local tourist thing. When we arrived at our hotel, an almost 100 year old Hilton property downtown, we were terribly disappointed for multiple reasons, but more especially the cleanliness. It was awful. After 2 nights in the hotel, I suggested that we look at VRBO, as we have booked many homes via VRBO in the past. That is when we found this property. When we arrived, we were so pleasantly surprised. It was even nicer than the pictures on the VRBO website. The home is amazing. It is clean, spacious and beautifully appointed. Vacasa is the tenant service that the homeowner uses and they could not have been easier to deal with. If you are planning a trip to see Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse and all of the other tourist destinations in the Rapid City area, do yourself a favor and book this property. You will not be sorry.
