The neighborhood is sketchy, but if you're careful, you're ok. The biggest problem is the noise; it is located next to a major artery in and out of Rapid City and the traffic is constant and loud. The big trucks causes the entire unit to shake as if an earthquake is happening. It's a shame it isn't located somewhere else, because it really is a nice place. We felt comfortable with this unit which was large, modern and met all our needs as we reconnected over 2 1/2 days. No tourism. Just good family time. Played games and conversed in comfort. Highly recommend if it fits your group size. Hosts were supportive and very responsive. We had use of garage since it was not winter which also made us comfortable overnight. ##### Dennis G.
