Almost everything you might want to see is within a 30-60 minute drive. Very convenient. The cottage we stayed in was extremely clean with very comfortable beds, more than adequate linens provided, and a fairly well-equipped kitchen. There is an outside grill which we did not use but all cottages seem to have them. There is a microwave in the kitchen but ours was on top of the fridge so, without stating the obvious, it is not usable. Not sure why someone thought to put it there but there it was, over my head. The bathroom was spotlessly clean and the water pressure in the shower was great, with plenty of hot water. It is a little tight in there because the full-size water heater is right by the sink but after all, it is a cottage and you make due. The tub did not drain well, which was unpleasant, but you just shower faster. Our favorite part of our stay here was the deer that greeted us every morning and every evening. At one point we counted a dozen coming through. They are very sweet and seem to be used to having folks around. Loved the patio with gas grill included. Also this particular property also had a car port. Property was kept up very as well and everyone we spoke with here was very friendly and helpful.
