It was very clean, rustic, spacious and had lots of charm. Given that it had a refrigerator, oven and microwave we were able to eat all of our meals in the cabin. This was beneficial after spending every day hiking. The campground was very quiet and we had access to the lake and wonderful park. And the location was perfect - centrally located for day trips to Badlands, Custer State Park, Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse and Spearfish Canyon. It does need some maintenance. The toaster handle was broken, the carpet needs replacing and the caulking in the upstairs shower needs to be replaced. Overall a very affordable place to stay compared to the hotels. Mattresses very comfortable! ##### John G. Staff are perfect. Best stay ever. Booked next year Location perfect our trip to Sturgis and Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Custer State Park, The Needles, Badlands, Deadwood and so much more.
