"This resort is unacceptable for a Hyatt property. On the positive side, the design of the pool itself was great for the area, and one of the few properties with a lazy river. The water temperature was refreshing. Beyond that, not much to like. For context, we stayed here on weekdays. The service here was terrible and unacceptable for this type of resort. The restaurants were significantly understaffed, with extremely slow service for both bar and restaurants. Housekeeping and bell desk repeatedly refused our requests for cleaning (we say other customers complaining about the same). The quality of the food here is bad, whether kids food or adult food. The marketplace is overpriced, and the quality is closer to what you find for takeaway food in a gas station. The quality of the ingredients of the food from the restaurants were high, the execution was poor and uneven. The pool area has no seating if you go late morning. We had to grab towels and spread out on the turf near one of the pools. Even the tables for food service were full of people just trying to find space. Only about 35% of the chairs with towels or personal items seemed occupied at any given time. The resort staff and rules did not have them enforce any turnover of space not being used.This was on a Monday and Tuesday, so not peak days. The rooms were adequately clean. A couple of family members seemed to get bitten by unknown, non mosquito bugs in the room. "

"It was horrible I got there at night and as soon as I got in the room to unpack i was getting my kids ready for bed and we see cockroaches on the beds, walls, and counters there was no microwave and fridge to warm up my babies bottles. The beds were so hard and not comfterable at all. I called to ask go another room with a microwave and the lady at front feel was so rude and said i should have told her sooner and she could not help. I had literally just checked in so what is she saying? "

"Pools were fun for the kids. Water quality by the end of the day was atrocious. Food was mediocre at the onsite restaurants "

"We had such a great stay at The Saguaro! They let us check in early at no extra cost and even allowed us to enjoy the pool while our room was being prepared, which was a huge plus. We needed extra robes and they sent them up right away, super quick and easy. The staff was genuinely friendly, the amenities were great, and the pool and hot tubs were spotless with plenty of loungers available. My kids especially loved the bright, colorful vibe of the hotel, and they were so excited that they each got a big, comfy robe to wear to the pool. It made it feel extra special for them. Overall, such a smooth and fun experience. We will definitely come back."

"We stayed from Saturday to Wednesday. Restaurant was closed on Sunday & Monday. Restaurant is also closed everyday for lunch. Both water fountains were out of order. It really looks like the hotel is about to go out of business. The positive side is the staff are very friendly and helpful. "

"Staff were very friendly and helpful at the registration desk. The room was clean and comfortable but did have some wear and tear in some places like the wall paper in the bathroom. The staff at the main dining area took long to approach and take our order and some were not very friendly, but it was still convenient to have a restaurant in the hotel. The pool was great and the kids enjoyed the arcade. Breakfast was also great. "
