"The room at the YMCA Estes Park was very very dated and musty. The hallways and common areas were not clean. I will say tho that the number of things to do and the staff were both excellent. Unfortunately, when we were there, the pool was closed and they couldn’t find the person who ran the roller rink so that was closed and they couldn’t archery was full. We did like our time there but the rooms…..yuck."

"Our overall stay at this cabin was wonderful! There was an apparently unprecedented problem that developed right before we arrived, and the owner was active, responsive, and a great communicator, solving the problem as quickly as possible over a weekend, and following up with us almost every day. He responded with generosity and courtesy throughout our visit and after. The cabin environment itself was beautiful, we very much enjoyed the view of Mary’s Lake and the surrounding mountains, and being 10 minutes from downtown Estes Park and about 10 minutes from the Rocky Mountain National Park was perfect for us. I enjoyed trout fishing in the Big Thompson River and Estes Lake, as did my four-year-old granddaughter. There were also two pack and plays, one of which we did use, as well as an infant highchair.Our party included people as young as five months old through grown adults, and everyone was comfortable and content in the cabin. The lower level did get a little bit cool when the AC was running, but we were able to spend most of our weeklong stay without using it much at night in particular. We enjoyed the beautiful mornings and evenings, the occasional wildlife passing by, and mostly the quiet and comfortable time we shared as a family. We highly recommend Gary, the owner, and this beautiful cabin as a place for families to stay and enjoy!"

"Feel for the price of what we paid need to modernize the location.... oven could barely hold a small pizza .... we had to move the TV to the other room for the kiddo at 1800 for 4 days these little details do make or break the overall experience of the trip. The good, the bed was comfortable and nice to come back to from a long day of hiking the park..... location is about 5 mins from down town .... amazing views at dawn and dusk where we would sit on the patio before starting the day or ending the evening ...internet was top notch kid never complained with lag while watching movies or gaming Over all I would rate this spot 7 out of 10 with little improvements could make this spot worth the price you pay for what you get....."

"Overall a nice stay. Location and communication with host great. Beds aren’t the most comfortable and the carpet is dingy. The mattress pads don’t look clean and upon check out guest are asked to take sheets off but not mattress pads or pillow shams which leads me to wonder if the mattress pads and shams get washed. Towels and wash clothes are limited for 3 of us. We got 4 bath towels and 4 washcloths for a 3 night stay plus some looked stained.Kitchen area clean though."
