Surfers flock to Manu Bay for its legendary left-hand break, while non-surfers enjoy the black sand beaches and artsy town centre. Climb Mount Karioi for panoramic views, or join a harbour cruise to spot dolphins playing in the waves.
Had a great stay at the Queenslander in Raglan. Everything was smooth, comfortable, and exactly as expected. The place was clean, well‑kept, and made for an easy, relaxing visit. Would happily stay again.

Nice apartment and very spacious over 2 levels. Easy self check in and good to have parking space outside. Slight mishap with WiFi but host very quick at responding and helped us resolve issue.

It couldn't have been better; John and Warren were excellent hosts. Nothing was too much trouble and facilities were really excellent. Highly recommended.

A nice clean room with good amenities and friendly staff. Plenty of car parking on site too. Good location close to supermarket, shops and choice of restaurants and fast food outlets.

We were very comfortable in this little apartment and it was well-situated, being handy for local shops and restaurants. We had everything we needed for self catering, although the oven could have done with a clean and the tumble dryer wasn't very good. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend Quest as a chain.

As previous reviews have said, this motel is very old fashioned, tired, and in need of refurbishment. However, the location is good, the apartment spacious, the bed very comfortable, the shower powerful and the host so friendly, welcoming and obliging, even offering to change our mattress after the first night if it was too soft! And we were only staying 2 nights!
We would recommend this property on the understanding that people read the reviews and know what to expect. No frills, basic...
