Cosy & Comfy Apartment with private Terrace, Pool and Garden

The VILLA CASA RIPI is situated between Siena and San Gimignano 5 km far from the ancient village Radicondoli. Quiet but not remote, located in one of the most panoramic landscape in the hart of Tuscany and cultural richest area Italy. The farmhouse from the 10th century was restored recently lavish in typical medieval natural stone design.

The location gives the guests peace and natural experiences in its purity with grandiose panoramic view.The smartly designed interior offers a comfortable living space for 2 or 3 guests on 45m². Located on the house’s sun-rising side on the ground floor, it reveals its Tuscan style with its separate glazed entrance, which is characterized by two terracotta arches. Faced on the entrance, a huge private terrace of 47m² which is partially covered by a vine pergola, invites to linger and relax by enjoying the sunbeds, the outdoor furniture and to have a barbecue on the charcoal grill.

The apartment’s furniture is comfortable and functional. It’s living room is combined with a highly equipped kitchen… – you’ll find a 4-burner gas hob, an electric oven, a dishwasher, a fridge with (***)* freezer, a trad. coffee machine, a “Pavoni“ espresso machine and a wood-fired oven. Beside the living room there is the bedroom with a non-separable double bed (an extra bed or a cot for a third person or child can be added). Bathroom with WC, Bidet, shower unit and hair dryer.

Technical equipment: central heating, Full-HD satellite LED-TV and free high-speed Wi-Fi suitable for homeworking.

Independent of the seasons, this Apartment has probably the best living climate of the house.

Free joint use of the house’s panoramic saltwater pool (approx. 8,55 x 5,00m – varying on climate conditions the pool area is released from beginning / mid of May up to mid of October). The beautiful garden area surrounding the villa is shared by all guests and trumps with other terraces, a fish pond, a playground and a barbecue site.

  • Cascate del Diborrato - Parco fluviale dell'Elsa Inside the residential area of Colle Val d'Elsa is a historic and natural landscape of enormous value thanks to the Elsa River which crosses the Val d'Elsa creating a unique territory. The river creates enchanting corners for hiking and observing: the engineering works for gathering water, the artifical canal system for carrying the water to the city, the caves. A particularly suggestive point is the Diborrato water falls, a 15m jump which is more than 10m deep, a sort of small lake where the locals used to go to cool off. Other places not to miss are the Grotta dell'Orso, the Conchina, the Masso Bianco, the Nicchia and the Spianata dei Falchi, each with its own particularities. Monteriggioni began as a border fortress built on a round hill by Sienna against the Florentines. It is famous for the intact defensive structure that held up against repeated Florentine attacks in the 11th century; its 10 meter high walls and 14 towers can still be seen for miles around. Monteriggioni has been featured in movies as a typical medieval village. The village is slightly elliptical in shape with two gates (a third has been plugged). The major gate tourists will use when coming from the parking lot, Porta Franca, owes its name to the Via Francigena--Monteriggione was a major stop on the pilgrimage trail from Cantebury to Rome. The Romanesque Church of Santa Maria Assunta will offer assistance with housing for modern pilgrims traveling the Francigena pilgrimage route. Monteriggioni was a sleepy village of farmers and sheep herders as late as the 1960's. Today it exists entirely for tourists and pilgrims. You'll find wine shops, a tasting room, restaurants and hotels in the small village. This is not neccessarily a disadvantage, although some times it's nice to see some locals puttering about once in a while. Where is Monteriggioni? Monteriggioni is located in the province of Siena, 14km to the northwest of Siena (54km from Florence). While it can be done as a day trip from Siena, you might be better off staying the night--Monteriggioni is much more evocative when the tourists leave late in the afternoon and you can sit in a courtyard sipping a glass of Chianti. Monteriggioni is surrounded by vineyards, and is known for its wine production.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Wir waren mit dem Apartment und dem Ambiente sehr zufrieden. Alles war sauber und ansprechend. Christiana, die Eigentümerin, ist eine sehr nette und umsichtige Gastgeberin. Sie ist bei allen Fragen und Wünschen immer erreichbar und hat fantastische Tipps zur Erkundung der ganzen Gegend. Wir werden wieder kommen!

Urlaub in traumhafter Lage

Wir haben unser Domizil sofort erkannt, da die bereitgestellten Bilder die Wohnung genau widerspiegeln. Das Haus und auch besonders unser Apartment wurden mit viel Liebe zum Detail renoviert und eingerichtet. Das ganze Anwesen macht einen einladenden Eindruck, wunderschön angelegt und viele Möglichkeiten einfach mal die Seele baumeln zu lassen. Die Villa liegt sehr zentral, sodass wir alles Punkte der Toskana mühelos erreichen konnten. Unsere Gastgeber haben uns offen und freundlich willkommen geheißen. Wir hatten weniger das Gefühl zahlende Gäste zu sein, sondern wurde wie Freunde behandelt. Dank des "Familienanschlusses", der wirklich tollen Ausflugsratschläge und der zusammen verbrachten Zeit, hat uns Cristiana selbst den leider verregneten Urlaub versüßt. Vielen Dank für Eure Gastfreundschaft. Wir hoffen, wir sehen uns bald wieder. Antje und Armin
