It might be noted that there is a downstairs apartment as well, which I don't think was described on the website. I mention this only because of possible noise issues - I did hear music played from around 6-8 pm, but all was quiet after that. The setting is lovely, and the host was great - friendly and flexible. Overall an excellent stay."

It was the perfect retreat for us, and we thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub and the breathtaking sunset views, especially while cooking in the beautifully designed kitchen. The kitchen was fully equipped, making it easy to prepare an amazing family dinner. The town of Clinton was absolutely charming, with the friendliest people, and we fell in love with Hammonasset Beach—it’s a must-visit! We’ll definitely be returning in the summer. The home’s privacy was a huge bonus, and the updated finishes were a great touch. It was a great experience!"
