For a spot to just sleep and travel, it was a nice place to stay! Only issue my wife and I had was that the king bed was very stiff and didn’t really have enough bedding to keep us warm, thankfully I had thick, warm blankets in my car that helped make the nights sleep a lot better.

Always a nice stay!!
I have stayed at American Inn Branford least 5 times now for business in New Haven. I have never had a bad experience yet. The family who runs this establishment are so nice and conscientious. The room is always clean. Bed is very comfortable. Quiet neighborhood with easy on and off of I -95. Clean bathroom and linens. Ample parking. Ample hot water. No coffee maker but there is a fridge. No breakfast. I will definitely stay here again!!
