I was disappointed with the decor in the room. It looks dated. I wouldn't have thought so since the building itself looks nice and so was the lobby. The one thing I was dissatisfied was the mini refrigerator. It's NOT cold. I thought it was broken so I called the front desk and was informed that their refrigerator only gets a tiny bit cooler than room temperature, however; ours was HOT. I couldn't put my dairy goods in such as milk, yogurt or even my meds cold. I have been traveling for over 30 years and this was my first encounter with a refrigerator that isn't cold. What's the point of having a refrigerator that's at room temperature! We also got charged for 2 bottles of water that we thought was free since, they offered 2 free water bottles per day. We stayed for 3 nights and didn't use house keeping at all. When checkout they said we owed $40k for the water. It's not much but I thought bad customer service since I could've got 4 for free instead.

Check in was a little chaotic. The weekend crowd was overwhelming. It happened the company's trip was booked on the same weekend that we booked. The three elevators were over capacity. I booked an oceanview room. The photo on Expedia showed from the room was all oceanview. However, I got the corner room, it's showed city view and partial oceanview. I called the front desk and they said it's a oceanview room. They explained that their wording of 100% oceanview is oceanfront view. This is conflicting with the photo on Expedia website. However, the front desk made a quick room change to oceanview room as is on Expedia website. I appreciated their quick response for the switch.

this is my second time staying at Grand Hyams. We very much enjoyed our stay. The hotel upgraded our family room to the suite and we really enjoyed the extra living room space. AC and temp was always on point for the hot summer days in Quy Nhon. convenient location right at beach front for swimming and enjoying drinks at the beach. staff was always helpful in Vietnamese and English since I am bilingual, I switch back and forth and the staff always knew what I needed. So glad this hotel is in my hometown and making visits home so much more enjoyable.

The hotel was modern and well maintained. Our room was large and had a wonderful view. It was well located only 100ft from the ocean and the promenade. The pool was fantastic and a large well equipment fitness center. Lastly the breakfast was excellent. My only suggestion for improvement is the coffee.

Quy Nhon is a quiet and beautiful city. It has not been overrun by tourism and also has all the convenient facilities. This hotel is the tallest building in Quy Nhon, with rooms offering unbeatable sea views. Some rooms have both sea and bay views, meaning you can see both the sunrise and the sunset. The hotel's restaurant is surprisingly good. The staff are proactive, enthusiastic, and professional, especially the young man at the main entrance. This is a hotel with excellent value for money.

Everything was perfect here. Staff was so friendly and helpful. The clean room was so amazing, we loved the design of the room here so very much. Food was very good. Didn't have time to see the pool, we really regretted not having chance to use it and also its spa service. We didn't have too much time although we thought it will a special service. Hopefully, we will have a good chance to come back here and will try it.
