A very friendly, welcoming hotel, with clean, spacious room. A good location, just between two main thoroughfares. A lot of thunderstorms when I was there, so it was nice having a comfortable, relaxed hotel to wait out the rains. Only five or six blocks from the artisanal market, if you're looking for nice traditional crafts and gifts.

This is a great place if you just need to relax. It's located near several restaurants and convenient stores. It doesn't have a lot of modern conveniences (there's no refrigerator and no AC), but it is comfortable and quiet. It was a great place to rest.

Great place, despite recent review complaint. Every employee was kind and helpful. Very happy to help us with adjusting to needing a late night checkout for travel plans. No issues with hot water, internet, etc. Comfortable room and beds, even without AC or heating. Very safe with a 24-hour security gate. Great location within blocks of MANY restaurants and the local craft market. Would recommend, especially to any budget conscious traveler.

Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities, property conditions & facilities
This hotel is terrible! They just want to make money but don't want to spend money updating things and fix things. The Internet does not work, because the router is bad. The owner said the internet provider does not have new routers, so the guests don't have internet access and the hotel advertised as wifi available, it is bait and switch. The water heater is small, the water pressure is low and the shower head is clogged, so I cannot take a shower. There is no electrical outlet in the room, There is one just for TV, so I cannot use other electronics I have with me. The fire alarm is broken, and it sets off several times during the night, and I could not sleep. It is a rundown hotel and needs to be closed! Don't stay there and waste your money.

Nice hotel. A bit noisy at night both from the street (car alarms, etc.) as well as from other visitors in the patio and hallways after 9pm. Internet was very good and fast. The main issue was with the showers, which have very week water power. Also you will either burn yourself alive or freeze to death under the shower. There is no middle point.

Clean with comfortable beds and plenty of blankets. Rooms are small, bare bones. No chairs or table. One end table and a coat rack. The owner was pleasant and helpful. We had read negative comments about her but had no problems. No one speaks English but we were able to get very good instructions about how to get places with good directions. She provided us with a map and marked locations for us and wrote down the proper bus to take. She also told us the maximum to pay taxis. Breakfast was fresh and sufficient.

Good value. Great staff

Room was clean but a little small but the staff was very attentive. A little Spanish would be helpful because the staffā€™s English is very limited, but that doesnā€™t detract from the service provided. When I had some trouble with the hot water, the woman working that shift literally ran to the hot water heater to fix the problem. Location is quiet and seems safe. You have to buzz in to enter the hotel area. Still only a few blocks from the tourist area of Foch Plaza. The breakfast is typical for Ecuador and tasty. Eggs, juice, fruit, bread and cheese are normally offered. All in all a pretty decent value for what you pay. Iā€™d stay again if Iā€™m in Quito in the future.
