The staff is very nice and the rooms are very clean. The elevator needs caution though as it closes too quickly and it may crush you or your loved ones.

My room, upgraded to a suite, was clean and comfortable, although quite stuffy at night due to the lack of A/C. The staff was courteous and professional. The food service (dining room and room service) as very good. The Akros does not compare to the big chains in terms of amenities, but in terms of service and comfort it is outstanding, and definitelyi more affordabe.

There was no air conditioning in the rooms which forced you to open the two, very small, windows to attempt to get air. EVERY NIGHT after midnight or so and just about every thirty minutes an incredibly loud alarm would go off. Sometimes for thirty seconds sometimes for fifteen minutes. I’ll never stay there again
