It is a lovely place to stay, right by Cap Rock Canyon. Close to town, and yet peacefully in the country. If I am ever in this neck of the woods again, I would definitely stay here! The gas fireplace is a wonderful touch.
This beautiful home was the perfect location for our trip to see Caprock Canyon State Park. The home was cozy and had everything we needed for our stay. We plan to return with other family members!
We had a wonderful stay at this updated, pretty decorated farmhouse, accomodating our large family group. It is well supplied and a lovely setting! It is very close to the park.
Great place to gather with family!!! Porch was absolutely perfect and the kids loved exploring the property!! Kitchen very well equipped and perfect size for large spread!!! Thank you so much for having us!
Had an event to attend in the local area, and stayed here. Because of the weather we had to move back a week. The host said it was open and moved us. Didn't charge us more and was EASY to deal with. The place was spotless and if the weather was nicer would've taken more advantage of the outside area. Would stay here again!
This is our 3rd stay and we will keep coming back to this amazing and historic home. It is meticulously clean, the hosts are amazing, and don’t forget to enjoy the stars at night. You won’t regret it!
What a wonderful place to stay and explore Caprocks Canyon and surrounding areas. The host was so kind, welcoming, and helpful. We had a very comfortable, peaceful time. Highly recommend!!
We were doing a childhood remembrance trip with my 89 year old Mother who was born in Gasoline. We visited Quitaque, Flomot, Turkey, Gasoline and Caprock Canyon State Park. The location worked great for our family.
If you are looking to visit Caprock Canyons but prefer a cozy bed, full kitchen, and hot shower to tent living, this is the place. It is just down the road from the state park and comfortably housed my family of 5. Nice dogs next door who will visit for a back scratch too.
We loved this lovely well-maintained house. There was ample space for all and the beds and couches were very comfortable. We especially loved the big front porch and huge screened porch. Easy access to the canyon, plus a short drive to the Tukey Hotel for live music and great food.
Cozy, spacious, and perfect for our group of 11. We went to caprock canyon and palo duro canyon. Caprock state park entrance is about a 1 or 2 minute drive from the property and if all you saw was caprock, the trip would be worth it. All photos are of caprock canyon. The host was great!
The information from the host was very accurate and prompt.
Plenty of towels for a big group.
Plenty of coffee to go around.
Would’ve stayed longer if we had the chance.
Very close to Caprock Canyon State Park.
