The property is a magical historic landmark nested in the Asturians mountains. We slept in an old church with the views on the valley and the whole experience was magical. The wabi-sabi philosophy is lived fully end embodied in every single detail. The infinity pool blends perfectly with nature and makes for an outstanding view. The staff in incredibly helpful and willing to recommend and restaurants and activities in the area. Definitely a must go. Well done and congratulations!

Great stay!

We had an amazing two nights at Solo Palacio. A beautiful Manor House in incredible surroundings! The infinity pool was stunning & the spa also. It would have been nice to have had a coffee machine in our suite tho. We’ll hopefully return again.

Beautiful property. Grounds & rooms aesthetically pleasing. Pool was nice & drinks were delicious. Not the most practical place - small kitchen with no dish cloth, pots/pans, dish soap. The property’s restaurant is closed Monday - Wednesday and there aren’t a lot of options for dining. We went to the grocery store since we couldn’t find a restaurant nearby w/availability until 9:30. You are limited with what you can prepare due to the lack of equipment. Just keep this in mind. Sofa cover dirty and needed to be washed, food residue from prior guests on table when we arrived.

The hotels is situated in a small town in the mountains. The property itself is meticulously restored with a lot of personal attention by the owner, Carlos. The bar and breakfast area is gorgeous and smells like cinnamon and hearth. Wonderful and unique drinks at the bar. Our room was a double suites and had views of the mountains. There was a big chair to sit and enjoy the view. Our beds were clean and comfortable. The pool is awe-inspiring, but we were unable to use due to the temperature and rain. Breakfast was a gourmet feast. One of the most memorable breakfasts we have had. This is a unique, elegant, and curated place to stay; and a living tribute to Asturias. Driving through the curves at night may be an issue for some.
