"From check in to departure, we could not have asked for a more wonderful experience. Every member of the staff was welcoming, beyond accommodating, and made our stay a truly memorable experience. This is also the most beautiful and well-maintained property I have ever visited, and was such a peaceful, relaxing escape from the major cities. I also greatly appreciated that the property only accommodates a small number of guests, which made the stay feel very private and intimate, while still allowing guests the opportunity to get to know one another. I would highly recommend Quinta do Vallado if you are planning to stay in the Douro Valley."

"This was one of the best places we stayed out on our two week vacation through Spain and Portugal. The Owner’s medicine at the Location and they were super nice. The property was better than described on Expedia and the views were amazing the house the kitchen, the pool, their own personal Vineyard. It was amazing. I highly recommend this to any traveler in the area."

"The room was very clean and well equipped, nothing was too much trouble and we were very well looked after. Breakfast was lovely including home made jams, marmalade and fresh bread. The food in general was amazing, we had dinner on our first evening and then the dinner and wine tasting on the second night. Luis the owner did the wine tasting and he was very informative and a proud wine producer from the Douro Valley. All the staff were amazing and looked after us really well. We were all made to feel extremely welcome ( even our dog 🐶 Buddy) I can’t recommend this Quinta highly enough. Also the property was well positioned to explore all of the Douro Valley. Thanks Luis and your team keep doing what you are doing. "
