"Stayed 1 night in mid-March. I got the envelope with the key and instructions from the receptionist with a smile. Room was nice and quiet and warm. Fridge, microwave and coffee-maker. It is located right on the hwy 1 in Sterling. There some repairs going on, but not distructing. I would stay again. "

"The home was in spotless condition, and the hosts were extremely communicative. We had some very specific requests, and they were able to accommodate us, no problem. Needless to say, the area is gorgeous.Everything about this place is great...you won't be disappointed!"

"A classic Alaskan cabin experience. From the moment we walked in the front door this place felt like home. Rustic yet comfortable at the same time with all the amenities. We really enjoyed the wood stove and the over-abundance of seasoned firewood split and ready to go. Viewing the stars over the lakefront property at night was the icing on top. Really looking forward to booking this property again for a summer stay. Gotta see how much fun that lake can be once she’s thawed."

"I was in town for work and this place was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy some peace and quiet after my shift. Even working nights and sleeping during the day, i was not bothered at all. Place has everything you need except groceries. The host is super friendly and takes very good care of you."
