Nice and clean, parking entrance is a little tight for a large vehicle. Staff is very friendly and eager to help with any requests. Included breakfast was better than expected.

Excellent stay in Xela
Excellent hotel with great service. Everyone is super nice, friendly, and helpful. The property is beautiful and well maintained. The location is perfect for walking and visiting the heart of Xela.

Wonderfully charming hotel with a great location in downtown Xela. Loved the mix of old charm of the old renovated building with the modern touches. Comfortable bed, tasty breakfast, good restaurant overall, and nice courtyards to sit outside in and read or work.

Some aspects were excellent like the service and cleanliness, but the main issue we had was that there was no privacy between the rooms. We could hear clearly our neighbors' entire conversations, and our first night was a difficult one because our neighbors were talking until the early AM hours. The floor consists of wooden boards so we could hear when neighbors would walk at night, loud enough to be noticiable. There was also a lot of noise from the street too late at night. We bought earplugs and installed a whitenoise app that helped mitigate the situation. The food was excellent, the room was very clean, and the staff was extremely attentive.

Quaint Hotel Perfect for a stay in Xela
Our stay at Casa Morasan was very nice. It was a cute little place with a very friendly staff. The room was simple and clean and the freshly prepared breakfast was a great way to experience a typical Guatemalan breakfast. The location was also amazing, just one block from the main square! We would definitely recommend staying here for your visit to Xela!

This property is right in the historical center and every attraction of Xela can easily be reached by foot. The staff of Casa Morasan is very helpful with everything and makes one feel like family.

Great stay in Xela
Cozy hotel next to the Central Park of Xela. People were very friendly and breakfast was great. The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. The shower did take a little bit to heat up but once it did heat up it stayed hot for a long a time. The hotel was being renovated during our stay but it looks like all the renovations will be very nice!

Nice choice in Xela
This hotel is well located in central Xela a couple of blocks from the plaza. Nice room, next to a pretty central courtyard with tables and chairs. Like a lot of hotels in the Guatemalan highlands there is no heat or air conditioning. It gets cool at night in Quetzaltenango but the bed had enough bedding that I never got cold. Good breakfast. No English spoken that I noticed. I would stay again.

Good location, pretty place, kind of loud
Stayed here one night, pretty hotel and well maintained! Also very central location. The only problem is noise. The street was audible from the ground floor rooms, and I could hear noises from the kitchen very early in the morning. There was also construction happening on site, which started at about 7:30am.

Comfortable and welcoming.
Just a block off of the main plaza, very accommodating staff, entrance lobby opens into a flowered courtyard. Rooms are clean and warm- a perfect place to stay in Xela.

Beautiful hotel but it was freezing
This is a beautiful hotel with a sweet little restaurant. We would have been so comfortable but it was cold and our room had no heater. This city gets cold at night and a hotel room needs to be warm. With heat the place would have been perfect.

I personally enjoyed this place as it provided all that needed for my stay in Guatemala. It was clean, the hotel staff were wonderfully helpful, wifi was fully functional, shower had adjustable temperatures, an actual breakfast was served (nothing like a bagel with spread kind of stuff), and the parking lot was in a gated space. Now, if you want the extra amenities like a pool or gym, then this might not be the place for you. The only thing negative about the ‘antique’ desgin of the place is the light switches in the rooms which can pose a shock hazard to patrons as the ground can be easily exposed if the cover falls off (which happened in my case). Also, you can’t come and go as you like since you have to leave the key at the front but it’s one of those things that isn’t too inconvenient at times.

Excellent place to stay for the rate paid. Staff was friendly, courteous and professional. They were attentive and willing to help when needed. Definitely worth the return and if coming back to visit this city I will not hesitate to stay in this hotel. Of which staff I rate the staff a 5 star.

El hotel es lindo Lo.unico que es un poconincomodo es el parqueo. Y un detalle que mejoraria es que la ventana del baño no se podia cerrar y entraba mucho frio.
