"What a beautiful, relaxing experience this was! I rented the cabin for Valentine's Day weekend for my girlfriend and I. The weather was just right for the experience we were looking for. This was not far from Bryson City so we took a mini trip there for one of the days. The cabin was extremely nice, the views were great, and the host, Dan, was great! He was always available to reach out to if we needed anything or if we had any questions. We will definitely plan on doing another trip to this cabin one day. It was just what we needed to get away for a bit from regular life and relax."

"It was the most beautiful home I’ve ever stayed in. The host was the most wonderful lady I’ve ever spoken too and had the pleasure dealing with for a verbo stay. The house accomidationis where everything we needed! The view was absolutely incredible! I’ve never seen something so spectacular. My family and I will definitely be returning for another vacation. Thank you so much for giving my family and I somewhere so incredible that we will talk about for the rest of our lives. "

"Yes, she was quick with response to question. Everything was as listed. Very clean. Be sure and get your instructs to get in before you get within about 30 minutes and there is no cell service to look. "

"We had an ok stay. The cabin was nice and it was very quiet. I did have some concerns and why I chose three stars. Hopefully, this will help and better the cabin. 1. The oven was very nasty. I don’t believe the cleaning company cleaned the oven at all. There were breads crumbs and food all in the bottom of the oven. 2. No Generator for this cabin. We lost power the fourth night stay. We had no cell service (no WiFi), Heat, Lights, nothing from 8:00 p.m. until 3:00 a.m. I would suggest purchasing a Generac Generator for this cabin. 3. Basement had dead rats around pool table and bunk beds. The main living area and upstairs were ok. 4. There was a strong odor (chemical) in the basement. Maybe rat poison? Not sure but it was very strong. So we couldn’t stay down there to sleep or play pool. 5. Public access ramp in front of cabin across the river. So there were people fishing right in front of your cabin daylight to dark. Guides were bringing customers in to fish right in front of cabin, from bridge to power plant. This would be nice to know before renting the cabin. "

"Ben and Christine are great!! This is a beautiful property and if you love being in the mountains this is for you. I was hoping to slow down and reset during this trip. I was able to do that and more. If you’re looking to pretty much get off the grid, this is a great option. Grateful that Ben and Christine have shared a part of their property for others to enjoy. I hope you’ll enjoy it as much as I did!! "

"Great location, could not ask for better. The cabin is not fancy, but knew that going in. Who needs fancy with the surrounding nature. The windows however need new screens. They had big holes in them, and a lot of dead bugs. It would have been nice to open windows and hear the river. Otherwise, loved the stay."
