• Bike rentals are available in the village, though biking in the commercial area of the village is discouraged, as the flow of people and cars can be concentrated. The terrain has many hills, and a mountain bike should be used to traverse such rugged areas.

The place was perfect for our needs. Clean and spacious for our family of four. We loved the gas fireplace for relaxing after skiing. Portoro was just a quick text away for questions. They offer to stock the fridge for no additional fee.
This condo was sparkling clean and everything worked well Sheets and towels were more than adequate and checkin/checkout was easy. Portoro made up for having no guidebook with swift responses from the management. We were startled by the fee for the gym and swimming pool. It's a fine place to stay, especially for woodsy, outdoors types. A short hop to Quechee State Park, Woodstock, and Hanover, NH (Dartmouth College),
I stayed here on a work trip for a week. The place was clean and comfortable, and the kitchen and living area were great. Parking was easy and i would have enjoyed having more free time to relax outside. The only downside was the coin laundry (next door), but that is clear on the listing.
My wife and I stayed here for a few days while visiting our daughter at Dartmouth. Queeche and surroundings were much nicer than we anticipated. They even have a ski mountain. Beautiful golf courses. We will look to come back.
This 2-bedroom condo had updated decor, well-stocked kitchen items, plenty of towels and extra linens, and, overall, extremely clean. It is close to everything Quechee that we enjoy. Check-in/out was very easy. There aren't a lot of extra parking spaces for all of the condo units, and there are no designated spaces. We would definitely rent it again for a group of only 4 people.
We were in Quechee for the balloon festival. This was a perfect spot. However, the listing suggested something like “AC available” and the primary bedroom does not have AC (and it was hot). The listing should be more specific. Everything else was perfect.
Although the unit was very nice, and the area was beautiful, we were disappointed that there was not laundry available in the unit. Not only that, we had to go to two different places to get quarters to operate the machines. There was a laundry room, but it was not very clean. We had been traveling for a week and needed to do laundry so it was disappointing to have to manage how to operate an access machines. The information we provided upfront did not indicate that the machines were coin operated or in a separate building.
