Convenient to Dartmouth, Woodstock and other locations, we very much enjoyed the location and the experience. The kitchen was well equipped and the gas grill was perfect for dinner in one night. Thanks for a great visit. ##### Kerry N. Stayed 3 nights in Oct 2025 ### 10/10 Excellent #### nina w. 1 Jan 2024 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### Great weekend stay We had a lovely New Years Friends Weekend at the Dewey House. The house itself was great, with plenty of privacy for each couple. Location was also great --near Woodstock, Quechee, White River Junction etc. Hosts were very responsive. ##### nina w. Stayed 3 nights in Dec 2023 ### 10/10 Excellent #### Paula G. 27 Dec 2023 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### A favorite Christmas stay Our family (3 generations) spent the holiday in this lovely home, that was very accommodating in that all of the modern amenities met our needs. However, the old feeling of this 1800's home was also present, with many of the historical architecture still in place. There was plenty of room for everyone with many out of the way spaces to spend if one wanted to get away to read or relax. ##### Paula G. Stayed 3 nights in Dec 2023 ### 8/10 Good #### Manchen W. 18 Jan 2024 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, listing accuracy #### Review Spacious property with a history. Heating system could use some update as sound of heater overnight is not negligible. ##### Manchen W. Stayed 3 nights in Jan 2024 ### 10/10 Excellent #### Kerri K. 11 Jul 2025 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy We came up to visit friends in Quechee for the 4th of July weekend. The property is beautiful - wonderful views of Dewey Pond from the back porch. The only thing that wasn't quite up to par was the gas grill - it was not properly maintained and it was not functional. I'm sure this issue will be resolved for future visitors, but it was a bit of a bummer on a summer holiday weekend. ##### Kerri K. Stayed 3 nights in Jul 2025 ### 10/10 Excellent #### Jonathan H. 22 Sept 2025 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy We loved this old, eccentric, and original property. It is beautifully located and unique. We would definitely return if possible. ##### Jonathan H. Stayed 2 nights in Sep 2025 ---
