Beautiful area, peaceful and quiet. Could walk to hiking trails along the river. Great star gazing and there were deer every morning in the field outside the door. The air conditioning worked very well, but there were lots of cobwebs hanging on the exposed beams. The open shelving in the kitchen is not very kid friendly (i.e., not childproof for young kids). Note that there is not a dishwasher or a washer/dryer. Cell reception was bad, but there was good wifi at the property. ##### Eric L. Very comfy and rather iconic. Because of the barn construction, there was an occasional encounter with a bug or two. Nicely located with many shops and restaurants nearby. The surrounding neighborhood of Quechee is very pleasant and kind of upscale country.
