Enjoyed my stay! Would definitely recommend.

Our stay there was great! It was walking distance to old San Juan. The hotel was beautiful and the staff was friendly. The only downside was, the hot tub didn’t work and there was no warm water. I would stay here again.

I do not recommend this hotel, especially if you're renting a car or expect basic hospitality standards. I paid $25 per day for parking during my week-long stay, yet more than half the time I had to wait for staff or bar patrons to move their vehicles before I could park. The hotel clearly oversells its very limited parking while charging guests a premium for it. Housekeeping was equally disappointing. After the first day, I had to repeatedly request fresh towels, toiletries, toilet paper, and even have my bed made. These are basic services that should never require guests to ask. The complimentary breakfast was also poorly managed. Although it's advertised from 7-10 AM, items were often unavailable. If you wanted eggs, you had to ask the front desk employee to stop assisting guests and cook them, resulting in unnecessary delays. Even more surprising, the hotel didn't offer complimentary coffee or tea with breakfast, forcing guests to spend extra money elsewhere every morning. The only highlights were the central location in San Juan and Chris, whose local recommendations genuinely improved our trip. Overall, the hotel fails to deliver the level of service and amenities its rates suggest. Between the oversold parking, inconsistent housekeeping, and poorly managed breakfast, there are far better places to stay in San Juan.

Very upscale fancy with great pools and very nice access to the beech and the restaurants were amazing

Our stay at OLV Fifty Five was overall enjoyable! Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by the valet team, who assisted us with our luggage. Check-in was welcoming, and the front desk offered us a glass of Prosecco, which was a nice touch. Our room was comfortable, but we noticed three maintenance issues: a dirty pillowcase, a crack in the sink, and the bathroom door was not properly aligned with the frame. We reported these to the team, and the pillowcase was replaced immediately. I assume the remaining maintenance items will be addressed. We spent a day enjoying the pool and Jacuzzi. One suggestion would be to add a few more small tables around the pool area for guests to place their towels and personal belongings. There were only two available for everyone using the space, so we ended up placing our towels on the floor. We tried a few cocktails and small bites at the bar, which were enjoyable. We didn’t dine at the hotel’s restaurants because friends had recommended local restaurants, and we rented a car to explore the area. For our anniversary dinner, we were looking for something more upscale and chose Marmalade, which was a wonderful experience. One thing we noticed was that there wasn’t much on their packages at the hotel for our anniversary, and no offerings or recommendations were made. Housekeeping did an excellent job keeping our room refreshed each day with clean towels and complimentary water. Overall, we spent most of our vacation exploring PR on our own🇵🇷
