Located on the fourth floor of a brand new building, a few steps from Old Quebec. Open-concept area with well-equipped kitchen, breakfast counter looking onto the dining room and living room with modular full-size sofa-bed; 2 closed bedrooms with queen-size beds; Bathroom with bathtub and separate shower; Laundry room with washer and dryer. It's just far enough away from the touristy old town and in the middle of a lot of other areas. It is super central. The building is modern, and the apartment itself is spacious. But, we had many issues. We got there early, and left our luggage with the attendant. He mentioned our place was not ready and would be at check in time. No problem, we had been traveling for the day and were looking to eat. When we got back after check in time, it was not touched (by cleaning crew). We called the attendant and he got a guy to come up as we waited. He only changed the sheets and towels. I think he cleaned some of the bathroom, not sure. Not a deal breaker. As the night went on, we went to get ready. The lighting was weirdly dim everywhere. Hard for the women to do makeup there. Also not a big deal. The part that really pissed us off, and why I trashed the ratings was the temp of the apartment. There are 6 (yes 6) thermostats, and they are all locked. We opened the window and door and could not cool the place down. We called the front desk three times and emailed the owner. Nothing. My wife is pre-menopausal, and was hot flashing in the 26.5 C (roughly 80 F) temp in there. The fan seemed to be on, but no cold air. We sweat our butts off. We used fans, but hard to sleep. Exhausted on vacation. Don't advertise HVAC if you don't let people use it. That should be normal when paying a premium price. ##### John S.
