Amazing location! Cool history and a good time in the pub downstairs! The lady in the store downstairs was just a lovely person and helped me find a cool gift for my daughter to bring home! Beer was cold food was good and the views and outdoor dining was a real treat!
There is no breakfast included with the stay. The pub attached to the property opens around 11:30 am. The staff is helpful and friendly. View from the sun deck is amazing. Well maintained property.
Charming island retreat with all amenities needed, clean, spacious with helpful staff. On site pub and restaurant, live music, great views. Definitely recommend.
The Harriott Bay Inn is charming, having retained its historical character. Inn's with the HBI character are being razed and replaced with condo mostrosities.
Older building, so it's well maintained. Very nice views and comfortable accommodations. Spacious balcony that overlooked the grounds and has a view of the dock. Restaurant was fair and wait staff was very nice. A very comfortable stay. Great parking and walking distance to the grocery store and legion. Would stay here again!

Very quaint little place with tons of history! Rooms are very small but all you really need when you are there to explore the island anyway. Only real issue we had was a lack of sound proofing between the rooms- and could be very hot if it was sunny as there is no AC and the window isn't screened. Fish and chips at the pub was great!
Front desk people were so helpful and nice. There arent fridges in the rooms but the lady at the front desk offered us her own cooler so our food didnt go bad. Lovely property, very charming with gorgeous views and good food. The building is old, the pipes/plumbing have some minor issues--but it's very clean and well kept. Cozy, rustic charm that makes it the perfect rest stop after a long day of exploring the island.
As mentioned in other reviews: lovely outdoor area facing the marina. Decent food at the pub. Downsides: room is way too small, damp (air does not circulate, window does not open in the sleeping area). Bathroom floor tiles falling apart, tub poorly caulked. Basic and inexpensive fixes! Most of the chairs on the shared outdoor deck were broken and unusable. Expedia post advertised daily housekeeping (not the case). Several staff we encountered were not overly friendly. We knew there would be ‘noise’ but did not expect full band with amp, loud singing, bass until 1 am. While we appreciate the history and knew we were staying in a Heritage building, the overall impression is that the bare minimum is being done to maintain it. Would not stay again.
Very friendly staff always willing to help and go out of their way to do so. Great location by the Cortes ferry and right by the beach. Bit noisy as could hear all neighbours and the allowance of dogs in the room across the hall barking. Would have been nice to have a fridge and microwave in hallway where kettle and coffee maker is. Would stay again
Great location; very friendly folks working in pub, at the front desk & in the restaurant; very good meal in the restaurant; good chowder in the pub; building was nice & quiet after 11pm; bed was very comfy & bedding was good quality.

Nice location and friendly staff. Wish the blinds would have closed all the way in the bedroom
Dated and a bit tired, but good sized cabin, clean and functional. Good stocked kitchen and great location within walking distance of Cortes ferry and grocery store/cafe. Like other reviews, yes, mattress is hard and bedroom curtains need to be thick/darker.
Off season kitchen closes at 7pm so plan accordingly!
I absolutely loved this little place. The building has tons of old charm. The rooms were super clean and the beds were comfortable. The staff was great to deal with from start to finish and the restaurant was cute. I would imagine it’s even better here when they have the large patio open in the summer.
When I say the building had charm, it looked like the original slightly slanted floors, windows (maybe) and door locks. It was all awesome.
I will be staying here again when I go back.
I loved the charm of this old building and how well restored it is The staff are super friendly and helpful A nice place for a restful break from the busy world
We stayed in one of the three cabins behind the inn. Our cabin was larger than expected, and had a full kitchen with dishes, cutlery, coffee maker...all the important stuff. Pub downstairs was cool, and the crazy view from the kitchen tanle made my morning coffee worthwhile. Loved it there and will be rebooking.
