The Villa Rosa is a holiday dream in a quiet location with fantastic views of the valley and the sea. On the upper floor an open living room with a large glass sliding door and a south-facing balcony. A hall with panoramic glazing and a large ceiling opening connects the living room with the open kitchen. The open kitchen is equipped with all modern conveniences. Through the sliding doors in the kitchen you enter the spacious terrace with outdoor table. A round staircase takes you to the downstairs hall of the villa. From the hall you have access to the 3 bedrooms with bathrooms. There is also a laundry room and direct access to the outdoor terrace with its own private swimming pool (new construction 2022). The outdoor area has a beautiful lounge set and sun loungers by the pool overlooking the sea. Enjoy until the late evening hours. The Villa Rosa is located in the south of Messinia in the Peloponnese in the small village of Kamaria near Foinikounta (Finikounda). The Villa Rosa offers the ideal starting point for walks and excursions, for example to the castle in Methoni, Koroni or Pilos. The beautiful waterfalls of Polilimnio and the dreamy Voidokilia beach at Gialova. To play golf, go to Costa Navarino, the best golf course in Europe! For a snack and a drink to the taverns and cafes in Foinikounta and Methoni. In Methoni and Foinikounta (Finikounda) there is a boat rental (no license required). By boat you can sail yourself to the island of Sapientza to snorkel or swim in the turquoise blue sea and relax on the white sandy beach. There are various water sports options on the different beaches of Finikounda, Anemomilos Labes beach, including sailing, windsurfing, jet skiing, paddle boarding, water skiing and wave boarding are among the possibilities. It's of Voidokilia Beach and it's surroundings. Voidokilia Beach is on the Peloponnese peninsula and it was the most picturesque beach that I visited during that Greek trip, which was almost exclusively in Messinia. On that mountain is Nestor's Cave and above this are the ruins of a 13th-century Frankish castle (Old Navarino or Palaiokastro). Look closely and you will see :). I didn't get to walk up there. It was brutally hot that day and I spent most of the time at the beach. But, I did make time for some hiking. Near where I took this photo there was a lot of medieval or ancient ruins. Near those beautiful rocks. Dit is by far het mooiste, gezelligst ingerichte en best geoutilleerde huis waar we ooit verbleven. Je dag beginnen (en eindigen) met een duik in dat fantastische zwembad... hemels. Het huis was superschoon toen we (iets te vroeg) aankwamen, er waren lekkere welkomstcadeautjes en beheerders Richard en Diana gaven ons vol trots een grand tour. Je kan het zo gek niet bedenken of het is aanwezig in Villa Rosa... Voor ons het enige minpuntje dat het huis niet op loopafstand van winkels en strand ligt. Althans, in de hitte die wij hadden, was het niet te doen de 'berg' af en weer op te lopen naar het strand. Wel is er een authentiek en prima restaurant vlakbij. Maar voor bakker, super, strandtentjes, etc. moet je ong. 10 minuten in de auto. Strand idem. Geen ramp, maar zorgde ervoor dat onze zoons niet zelfstandig even naar het strand of het dorpje konden, en dat vonden zij jammer. Die Vermieter sind unglaublich nett, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend, das gibt es selten. Die Villa war für uns perfekt, sehr sauber und bot eine tolle Aussicht aufs Meer. Der Pool ist richtig groß und unser Sohn war kaum rauszukriegen. Die Strände in der Nähe sind auch wunderbar und das Wasser glasklar und sehr sauber. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen, es war alles wie angegeben und wir können die Villa Rosa besten Gewissens allen weiterempfehlen.
