It's of Voidokilia Beach and it's surroundings. Voidokilia Beach is on the Peloponnese peninsula and it was the most picturesque beach that I visited during that Greek trip, which was almost exclusively in Messinia. On that mountain is Nestor's Cave and above this are the ruins of a 13th-century Frankish castle (Old Navarino or Palaiokastro). Look closely and you will see :). I didn't get to walk up there. It was brutally hot that day and I spent most of the time at the beach. But, I did make time for some hiking. Near where I took this photo there was a lot of medieval or ancient ruins. Near those beautiful rocks. You can walk by foot to the various restaurants of Gialova, and to the beach. We enjoyed it and also experienced some other beaches in the area, as well as the archeological sites nearby.
