"I am a solo female traveller. Zanzibar House is an excellent property in so many ways. The staff are friendly and helpful. The grounds are a delight to be in, with lots of comfortable places to sit and read or contemplate the beauty of the area. I did not use the pool and I am sure it would be lovely. At night time I had an evening meal which was tasty and they accommodated my dietary requirements very well. I am gluten intolerant. I recommend this hotel if you like quiet and beauty filled...

"Had booked for 4 nights, checked out after the first night. Old run down place with hardly any guests. Paid "

"The property was beautiful and very well kept. The food and service were excellent. Emmanuel was one of the bartenders that learned my name our first day and referenced me by name every time I entered the poolside bar."

"Fantastic stay – highly recommended! A fantastic place with exceptional service and wonderful staff. The breakfast was delicious, and the facilities were beautiful. Our villa was absolutely amazing, and we really enjoyed the lovely spa and stunning main pool. Everything was perfect, and we had a wonderful stay. Highly recommended!"

"Overall bad experience since check in, we had to come back to reception 3 times before getting everything properly, such as wifi card, towels, safe key. At least they allowed us with an early check in. Do not book all inclusive formula since it's a cheat. Even tanzania beer such as serengeti or kilimanjaro are not included, they just serve another beer included. In the room you will find 2 little bottles of water (200ml each). Choose if you want to drink or have a coffee. I live in Tanzania and...

"All good Nice new place . Just one security on entrance was rude . Hotel new staff need to learn how to talk to the guests"

"The hotel has been rented to Egyptian guy. We got to the hotel and we were told we will be sharing a bathrooms with other guest. i advise the front desk clerk i made my reservation for room with a view and will not be sharing bathroom with other guest. The hotel in under new ownership and the Egyptian guy sits at the entrance watching the guest( very uncomfortable and creepy and he is a chain smoker). a skinny dark skinned guy. The hotel has changes its name. Was not easy to locate. there are no...

"Ottima struttura per visitare e godersi la costa est di Zanzibar. Camere essenziali ma confortevoli, pulite e moderne. Staff super, Roberta e i colleghi ti fanno sentire davvero a casa. Il ristorante davvero ottimo sia per le colazioni sia per i pasti. Per chi cerca un’oasi di pace diversa dai classici resort (per vivere l’atmosfera di Zanzibar in modo più autentico) e della buona ospitalità (e cucina) italiana sicuramente è il posto giusto! Super consigliato! "
