Everything about this resort was amazing. As a first timer in DR, I felt very safe and welcomed. All of the staff were wonderful and so fun to talk to. The amenities were very accessible and room service was super quick. Didn’t like how we have to pay for a spa, with how expensive the resort is, you’d think it’d be complimentary. The bars were 10/10 though.

We had a wonderful stay at Lopesan Costa Bávaro Resort! The hotel is beautiful, and we truly enjoyed our time here. The food was excellent, with a great variety of restaurants and plenty of delicious options to choose from. The customer service was also very good. Everyone we interacted with was friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout our stay. We did have a small issue with the air conditioning in our original room, but the staff handled the situation professionally and moved us to another room, which we really appreciated. A very special thank you to Santiago Jimenez from Public Relations for all his attention, kindness, and assistance throughout our stay. He went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and well taken care of, and his exceptional service truly made a difference in our experience. We sincerely appreciate everything he did for us! Overall, we had a great experience and really enjoyed our vacation. Between the beautiful resort, excellent food, restaurants, and outstanding service, we would definitely recommend Lopesan Costa Bávaro and would be happy to stay here again!

We absolutely loved our stay at Lopesan Serenity! It was the perfect place to relax, have fun, and disconnect from everyday life. The property is beautiful, spotless, and very well maintained. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, and the food was excellent with plenty of delicious options. This resort is ideal for both couples looking for a peaceful getaway and families wanting a fun vacation. There are multiple pools, great entertainment, and something for everyone to enjoy. One thing to keep in mind is that the resort is part of a complex of four hotels, so be prepared to do quite a bit of walking. For us, it wasn’t a problem because the grounds are gorgeous, but it’s good to know before you go. Overall, we had an amazing experience and wouldn’t hesitate to come back. If you’re considering staying here, don’t let negative reviews discourage you—we had a fantastic time and highly recommend it!

Our stay at Lopesan Serenity, an exclusive “adults-only” resort, was truly memorable, and the employees were top-notch. The resort is gorgeous. The stunning scenery and exceptional staff, from security personnel to housekeeping, made our experience special and unforgettable. The waitresses who served us went above and beyond, and every restaurant and buffet offered delicious, high-quality food. The clean rooms with good A/C, the spotless common areas, and beautifully landscaped facilities added to the overall charm. My favorite feature was undoubtedly the Cenotes pool; simply breathtaking. However, despite these many positives, the “adults-only' promise fell short. I paid for an atmosphere restricted to adults, yet I often saw children in areas like the rooms and adult-only buffets. I suggest Lopesan ensures that the designated 'adults-only' spaces are respected and truly reserved for adults. I have no issue with children, but it is a matter of honoring the commitment to that exclusive environment. They didn't even offer an explanation for the situation. Lopesan Serenity should promote 'adults-only' facilities only if it can guarantee they are exclusively for adults, and communicate clearly and offer discounts or ammenities when that isn't possible. Once it addresses these issues, Lopesan Serenity will be an even more outstanding destination for relaxation and luxury.

I took my wife here for her birthday, and overall she had a great time, which was the most important thing to me. However, I have to be honest about how frustrating the room situation was. We originally booked Serenity Bay because we wanted a quieter, more relaxing experience. When we arrived, we were informed that Serenity Bay had been overbooked and we were being moved to Costa Bavaro. While the staff told us we were being "upgraded" to a Unique room, that wasn't really the case. We were placed in a Unique room but did not receive the amenities, perks, or benefits that are supposed to come with the Unique experience. Being told you're getting an upgrade and then not actually receiving what was promised was extremely disappointing, especially on a special birthday trip. The good news is that once we got past that frustration, there were a lot of positives. We walked over to Serenity Bay and immediately saw the peaceful atmosphere we originally wanted. The beach was beautiful, the food was excellent, and the steakhouse was one of the highlights of the trip. The staff throughout the resort were amazing—friendly, helpful, and always willing to assist. The entertainment was great, there was always something going on, and the property was very clean and well-maintained. Bar service was quick, restaurant wait times were short, and overall the resort offered a fun experience. Food was very inconsistent often times cold even from the al a carte restaurants. Some of the staff seemed uninterested as well. As far as the facilities the pools were the best I have seen at an all inclusive or anywhere for that matter. The entertainment was average at best as well. I wouldn't return. The hotel's "adults only" label is misleading. You have to share with family members, and there's only one adult restaurant. Of the three nights I stayed, only one was open, and it was fully booked. The food temperature wasn't good; it was cold, very cold, all the time. They need to change the method they use to keep the food hot. The staff, 80% were terrible; they need better training so they understand what it means to provide good service. The distance to the beach was approximately 3/4 of a mile and they do not have transportation to help customers get there. The room is a good size and cozy.

The AC didn’t work 2 out of the 5 nights. Nothing was done but an offer to give me a free upgrade on my next few thousand dollar vacation here. That doesn’t cost the hotel anything. I’m very disappointed at the resolution and lack of care from management. I would not recommend this resort. It’s brand new and it’s not my fault the AC broke. I understand that it’s not there’s either, but they should do everything to make it right and they didn’t. I’ve attached a photo of the room at 100% humidity, around 85 degrees Fahrenheit at 7am.

Cuando se adquirió la reserva, fue para un Hotel solo adultos. Lo que no sucedió, teníamos niños alojados. Incluso el la piscina exclusiva del Hotel solo adultos. Niños pidiendo en la barra oa bebida de sus padres. Se le hizo la observación a los empleados los cuales lo único que realizaron fue no despachar la bebida. Los padres no se vieron en el área de la piscina. Otro tema la bebida era pésima no tenían variedad.
