Dreams Palm Beach Punta Cana

Pros: Resort Service, Food, Cleanliness. Nightly Entertainment was awesome. Staff was friendly.
Cons: Our only complaint was a corroded shower handle that kept coming off, even after it was repaired.
Location: The location is good, We took a shuttle to a nice shopping area. There were plenty of excursions available.
We had a wonderful experience overall. It is very HOT there, so make sure you use plenty of sunscreen. The staff kept offering an upgrade to the Preferred Club, but we were happy with the Deluxe accommodations.

It was nice to not have a crowed resort. No lines, no waiting to get drinks or dinner or any services. Very nice.

Family girls trip

Pros: Pool, good location to beach, very large , entertainment, music
Cons: Food, the maids and their honesty, hotel manager Junior,
The hotel & it's facilities were by farthest the nicest hotel that my aunt and I have ever been to. However, the first night we were there, my aunt's luggage had been rummaged through and $200 had been taken out from her luggage from deep down under her clothes out of her wallet . We hadn't been there long enough to program the safe and the maid had just left our room when we realized this had happened. When staff was confronted about it they said, " That, that doesn't happen here." The facilities like I said are beautiful, the food was good at two restaurants , but you could tell because it was all inclusive, that they were trying to keep the food and cost relatively cheap since it is all you can eat and drink. Very close to the beach and the pool and landscaping were kept magnificently clean. The staff does try very hard to put a smile on your face and entertain you. It is a beautiful place, just do everyone a favor and use the safe.

Pros: Location, grounds, beach.
Cons: Rooms should be improved furniture needs to be changed at all and bathrooms as well. Housekeeping personnel must be re-trained or upgraded also.
Location: Location is excellent, beach is amazing no waves at all, water clean and clear!
Hotel grounds, landscape well maintained and kept.Very nice and clean. We booked room with tropical/pool view. When we reached the hotel we were asked to upgrade our room to preferred for $55 per night. When we kindly denied the offer the receptionist offered to upgrade for $40 per night. After the second denial they offer us to upgrade our room to preferred club for free. We were very happy until we got our room. It was in preferred club building 3. The room was on the back side of Sea Side restaurant and in the balcony all times were smoke and terrible odor. So, unfortunately we couldn't enjoy our balcony even for a 5 minutes. The furniture was outdated and had specific smell. The worst thing happened to us was that my daughter's golden earrings were stolen from our room. On our complaint security verbalized "the hotel has no responsibility for the lost items if you have valued items keep them in the safe".If only hotel personnel allowed to enter the room so who should have the responsibility???? Is that mean we should keep our clothes in the safe as well???? By the way during our next day checkout next to me a girl was stating to the receptionist that from her wallet in her room $20 were disappeared.... So keep in mind to lock everything in safe! Beach was very clean, comfortable with always available beach chairs. Food is good with variety of choices and beautiful decorations. Entertainment team tried to do the best for customer satisfaction.

Pros: 1) Location. The beach is very pretty, clear warm waters, palm tress, and lots of huts with beach chairs to relax. The ocean is very close to the hotel; take 40 steps from the closest resort pool and you are in the water (I counted). Plus all-included hamburgers, fries, chips, hot dogs, sodas, and cocktails right there. 2) Service: Very friendly service. 3) Food: We loved the quality of the food at the buffet. Really impressive. This was not my first rodeo, believe me. 4) General cleanliness. At the tropics flies and mosquitoes are part of the ecosystem. This resort had zero of that. Rooms pristine. 5) Night shows. Usually you see a low to medium class show at all-included resorts. Or no shows at all. The shows here were great. The ventriloquist show was particularly good. Cons: 1) Service. I know, I just said it was a pro. The thing is, it is not consistent. At breakfast I had to wait too long for my coffee to be served. I sat there, with my scrambled eggs in front of me, waiting for service. Smiling waiters passed and no one served me. Finally I decided to go next door (the all included coffee shop) and get my own cup of coffee. Then come back in the buffet and continue with my breakfast. This happened 4 times out of 7. 2) At the dairy area in the buffet they had two pitches with milk. One low fat (skim), the other regular. I was there for 8 days and never saw a NON LACTOSE MILK pitch (I have to drink non lactose milk). Little details that make the difference.
