"Hit and miss", but mostly miss!!!!!
First two rooms had AC, bug and noise issues. The third room was located in Building #5 and was told it was a free upgrade, it was on the beach and problem free. It is warm and HUMID on DR, you need operational AC. The preferred staff was helpful, after some coaxing. The buffet was open air and the food was hit and miss. The rotisserie chicken and fresh fruit were excellent, good luck otherwise! The restaurants were hit and miss as well, but had AC, to some degree. Order extra items to taste, the portions are small. Dress to sweat, shorts, button shirts and sandals should suffice! The Seaside Grill was good for breakfast, lunch and dinner, but should not carry the entire resort and require patrons to pay preferred guest rates to partake. Domingo and Edwin were excellent and deserving of their tips! SeaPro water sport center was excellent, honorable mention to JB and Franklin for prepping the Hobie Cat, they really helped compensate for the hit and miss resort entertainment. Overall, a decent resort with some great staff.
