We loved our stay at Grand Tirolia. Firstly, the staff were extremely friendly and very welcoming. Secondly, the food was INCREDIBLE. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious. The indoor pool was a great depth and the natural pool was beautiful (if a little cold!).

Stayed in one of the apartments associated with DeutscheEiche. It was fantastic. It had a fully equipped kitchen with stove, dishwasher, utensils, dishes and refrigerator with free beer, water, and diet coke which was restocked daily. The room was very quiet and even had patio with small table and chairs. Spent quiet afternoons on patio drinking wine (room has wine opener). Bed was quite comfortable. Daily breakfast included which was wonderful.
Close to old town and marketplace. Can walk to it very easily. Has many restaurants nearby. One worth mentioning is Monaco for pizza and Italian food. Around the corner is an Asian restaurant which was quite good if you are tired of Bavarian fare. Excellent place to stay.
