Drumgarry - Skye house with breathtaking sea views.
10/10 Excellent
"Really nice, large but cozy home with a fantastic view. Big kitchen. Host is very helpful when he's needed. There's a restaurant/pub in walking distance, too. We loved our stay!"
"Across the street from the Sligachan bridge, so you’re able to go take photos in early morning or night without any crowds. Staff was very friendly, room was clean and updated, and there was ample parking.
Breakfast was delicious and the restaurant next door was super welcoming. The only downside was there was construction going on. Would recommend staying here again!"
"The hotel very unique with nice view. Hotel staff very friendly. Room clean and well maintained just the size a little bit small. Delicious breakfast."
Beautiful Old Croft House in the Isle of Skye with great sea views
10/10 Excellent
"The Old Croft House was a delight. Beautifully clean in stunning surroundings, this lovely house has everything you need for a wonderful holiday. We saw seals, deer, eagles, otters and made friends with the cows in the neighbouring field. The road in from Armadale is twisty and care is needed. The Armadale Store is well stocked and Armadale Castle, Cafe and Gardens are a lovely place to spend an afternoon. The Aird of Sleat is remote but not isolated - there are plenty of neighbouring cottages- but do allow for extra travel time to drive to other places on the island- narrow roads with passing places, as well as sheep and cows on the road, do slow you down. The beach at the Point of Sleat is stunning, and well worth the walk there. Travelling back to the mainland on the ferry to Mallaig is straightforward and be sure not to miss the Hogwarts Express travelling over the Glenfinnan Viaduct. Our week in the Old Croft House was unforgettable. Thank you to the hosts for sharing their wonderful cottage."
"If you like a breathtaking views every morning noon and night you should probably stay here. So clean and great communication with the hosts.
*please keep in mind this place is in the country, it’s easy to get to but you would have to drive to go to any pubs or restaurants etc."
