The airport and downtown is only 15-minute away, right across the street there are many beautiful restaurants and bars, as well as Covid Testing, next door you´ll have “la Isla” shopping center, Walmart and Costco and many convenience stores nearby. Amazing walking distances. Professionally decorated with high-end furniture, accessories and two spacious balconies in front and back with stunning views that make this property a must see. Guests will have full access to the condo and the complex amenities which include infinity beachfront swimming pools, jacuzzies, amazing spa, a fitness center and tennis courts. The building is close to the airport and secure, is private for owners and renters. The living room has floor to ceiling sliding doors that open up wide to the balcony and create an open feeling where the breeze flows through generously. A Smart TV is mounted on the wall with Netflix Netflix, Youtube and Claro Video come preloaded for your enjoyment. The master bedroom has a king size bed a small balcony of its own with a view of the mountains and the shopping mall La Isla, direct bathroom access as well as a smart tv, air conditioner and fans. The 2nd bedroom has a small balcony as well with same amazing mountain views, a walk-in closet and an ensuite bathroom. Also has one Smart TV mounted on the wall. This room is accommodated with 2 double queen-size beds, sleeping up to 2 people each bed. The kitchen is loaded with all the pots, pans and cooking utensils needed to cook a four-course meal for your family or just to whip up a snack. In addition, a blender, coffee maker and toaster are at your service. You can sit on top of barstools at the kitchen bar or make your way to the dining table to seat up to 8 people at once. A washer and dryer are located in the unit and are available for guests use (we do not provide laundry detergent). THE COMPLEX. This high-end property is private for owners and renters. The entrances are gated and security is on-site 24/7\. There are four pools to choose from including two large beachfront, infinity pools with exquisite views of downtown Puerto Vallarta, boating and beach activities. Underground parking spaces are included in addition to an exercise center, tennis courts and game room for your enjoyment. The grounds are meticulously manicured, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Cabs are readily available and the bus stops right in front of the property. Grocery stores (Wal-Mart, Sam's Club, Costco, Soriana), restaurants, Starbucks, cinema (movies in English with Spanish sub-titles) and many other conveniences are within walking distance. Right across the street are fine dining options such as Campomar, La Vaca Argentina and La Madalena amongst others. Along the beach it's a 45-minute walk to the city center. The vacation complex is one of the few condo developments located within the busy and vibrant hotel zone. Gorgeous views of the ocean, mountains, and sunset from inside the condo. The Grand Venetian is located in the "Hotel Zone" or "Zona Hotelera" and is the center point of Puerto Vallarta, in-between Marina Vallarta and El Centro (downtown). There are several delicious restaurants, nightclubs and grocery stores within walking distance and you are also a short bus or taxi ride away from the bustling streets of downtown or a tranquil walk in the Marina. Busses stop right outside the development and taxis can be ordered from the lobby to pick you up inside the grounds. I would recommend not renting a car and instead relying on the affordable transportation options that are nearby. La Isla, Vallarta's newest and most high-end shopping center complete with restaurants, name brand stores and a movie theater are already open is just steps away from the vacation complex. This unit is at 6th floor, so children supervision is required There is a beach club nearby closing 9:00pm mostly at weekend days, a noisy public access to the beach street and while most guests are not bothered by the occasional noise, it should be noted. ## Property amenities ### Beach - The space was lovely, we had everything we needed. The wifi was out a bit and one of the days we did not have water (that was a building issue property wide, not owners fault). My family and I (twin 6 year olds, parents and grandparents) stay here from March 2nd to the 23rd. Our overall stay was wonderful, we had a few hiccups arise (as you do in most longer term stays) but Sergio, the property manager, was absolutely amazing to deal with. He was in constant communication with us and saw that the issue was fixed. Jose, the owner even personally reached out first to offer his apologies which I thought was pretty awesome. The condo itself is pretty much exactly what the pictures show, the only thing that was different was that the couch lounger on the patio wasn’t there otherwise it’s what you see is what you get. The location is absolutely amazing, everything you need is within a 5-10 minute walk with a large shopping mall next door, with a Starbucks. Overall I would happily stay here again. ##### Jenn G. Sergio was very helpful pre-check-in and if we had any questions during our stay. The views are amazing. In the evening, it was fun to sit on the deck and watch the cruise ships leave. We expected a very nice vacation spot considering the $$$$cdn/night we were paying. The condo itself is very nice but we were very disappointed in the view. The pictures do not show that you look out onto a wash and back road for the beach vendors and public. Also, if you want a quiet stay, do not stay here. There is a restaurant on the public road that had a loud band 2 of the nights and a bar behind it that played loud music 3 other days from noon-9:00 pm. We had water damage filling the laundry room, and I spent 3 days mopping and hand wringing pails of water to try to mitigate damage for the owners. We were initially told the problem was from the kitchen so we also did not use the sink/dishwasher the first part of our stay, which added to our expenses for eating out. To boot, the door latch broke, and our son and his friend were trapped inside and we were trapped outside the condo for 2.5 hours until a locksmith could come to break the door open. The property manager, Sergio, was excellent to deal with. We contacted the owners three times and got no response (we even waited 2 weeks after our stay as Sergio contacted them and was told one of them had covid but would get back to us shortly). We have never heard from them. Not a good way to spend the short one week vacation we had... ##### Yvonne D. We used Sergio the onsite host to grocery shop before we arrived so our refrigerator was fully stocked.. along with 5 gallon water jugs and ice! The only suggestion is for there to be more paper towels and large garbage bags. We loved every minute of our stay, The pool, the beach, the location, the gorgeous grounds and easy access to downtown and the airport. We had a minor issue but it was resolved immediately with Sergio. I would highly recommend the Grand Venetian! I have personally stayed here five times and this was my first time to rent through VRBO and it was perfect! Enjoy! ##### jane n. The property manager, Sergio Galvan was a pleasure to deal with and quite responsive. The coffee maker failed on our first day and Mr. Galvan had a new, in box replacement waiting for us the next morning. Our welcome packet provided comprehensive information that had everything in it, down to excellent restaurant recommendations. Mr Galvan was personally on site during check in and check out. He was a wealth of information and was sincere in his efforts to ensure we had a pleasant vacation. Our party of four fit very nicely into this spotless, contemporary condo. There is no onsite grocery, however, a Soriana supermarket is approximately a 1/4 mile north and has everything at good prices. The easy walk there is entirely on paved sidewalks. The tower security guard's radio provided an immediate taxi response which took us anywhere we wanted to go. A short trip was 50 pesos, where a longer ride to the "romantic zone" would run 150 pesos. This condo was absolutely just the perfect place to call home doing our weeklong visit to Puerto Vallarta. We loved being just a short bus ride away from the downtown area on one side and the marina on the other. We love loved watching the sunset each evening as we sat beside the pool or in the water or on the sand. One evening they were even a couple of dolphins that gave us a 20 minute ‘show’ right in front of the beach area in front of Grand Venetian! The food served in the GV restaurant was delicious and I think the best (non alcoholic) margaritas and smoothies were served here. Couldn’t get enough of their guacamole. Teenagers had fun with the ping-pong table in the 1000 tower at GV. We bought groceries from a store just walking distance (4 blocks? away), near Pizza Hut, and prepared breakfast and snacks in the well-equipped condo. We went on several excursions and enjoyed shopping for souvenirs. We are so glad we chose to stay for a week rather than book a cruise which was our other option. We wanted to be able to have the kids fully experience and be immersed in another culture and we were not disappointed. The beach access is kept very secure, under locked gate which is nice. But we always felt very comfortable and safe around the condos and downtown. Overall GV offers a very peaceful setting outside among the pools. Not a ‘party’ atmosphere. We prefer this over the over-commercialized time share resorts. In the evenings the locals would usually park alongside the canal just outside the tower and play their music which we enjoyed listening to while on the patio...listening to the surf and the local music while reading. We stayed at this wonderful Grand Venetian condo. Everyone that worked in the community was beyond friendly and accommodating. It felt like we were staying at a resort! The community has four pools with pool side service for drinks and food. It was much more than we expected. Checking in and out was super easy and everyone was very responsive. The condo was awesome and equipped with everything we needed. The view was beyond amazing! We will be back and hope to stay at this same condo!
