Lack of professionalism
Check in was perfect and seamless. The issues began the following morning when we handymen showed up to install a solar system on the roof. Having stranger walk thru the house, climbing ladder, and cutting metal is not only noisy, it’s chaotic. We rented the house to relax and enjoy some quiet. Who schedules such noisy installation on a vacation rental while you have guests paying good money to stay there……bad management does! We also had to jump over 3 feet of missing sod (or track mud Into the house) in the back yard because that, too, was being done during our stay.
We had another altercation with the property manager and she quickly canceled our reservation. Which meant we got kicked out the following morning, with no refund, no grace for time, no understanding on her part. I was even threatened to be physically removed by the police if I did not leave at 11. I have never been treated with such disrespect and unprofessionalism. I have videos of the workers and text messages from the property manager to support my statements. This is an experience we will never forget, sad it’s on a positive one.
