The temperatures were well above normal, so we spent most of the weekend in the pool. The drinks and food at the pool bar were wonderful. The beach is great. We had a great time

Relaxing unit

First time at Sonoran Sun, but third at Rocky Point. Came with mi fiancé and future mother in law to check out to resort, rooms, property, neighborhood as we plan to get married here in October. And WOW, this place is amazing! The resort itself is beyond beautiful, relaxing, huge, great amenities to include a gym (that we absolutely loved), and delicious restaurant on site. We stayed during the week so the store was closed either early or all day and the restaurant and swim up bar closed early or was closed as well. So make sure you check the hours when planning your trip. The service was great all around, only down fall was tips are cash only and the swim up bar had a $25 dollar rule to use a credit card, so I couldn’t just get one drink if I didn’t have cash, which I didn’t. The resort is pretty isolated from the rest of rocky point but a short 10 minute drive to other bars or 15 minute drive or else to downtown (malecón) area. The room was pretty damn nice, very clean, A/C worked great, and the kitchen had a lot to borrow dishes and pans, etc wise. The view was spectacular and outside furniture was great also. Security on the resort is great too. Would definitely recommend this unit and resort!

We loved this condo and the location, amenities, views! Everything was clean and ready upon arrival, the kitchen had everything we needed to make meals, kids loved having the cable TV and wifi. Views are amazing and the pool, beach and pool bar was plenty to keep us all occupied!

We go to Rocky Point often and have been staying at this condo on our visits for the past two years. We love this condo! The Sun is an amazing place to stay. The location is incredible. This condo is so comfortable, especially the bed in the master bedroom! This condo has everything you need to feel completely at home. You will love it!
