He doesn't speak English but he understands it pretty well. Its a busy location and can get loud but it comes with the territory since the hotel is on the main road. I've stayed here twice and parking/vehicle safety was never an issue. Really good restaurant directly across the street. The rooms were clean and updated. It is a small parking lot though. Shower was a little finicky for the hot water. No heater so take one or extra blankets. Wifi is okay at night but real spotty during the day. The noise level from the surrounding clubs wasn't bad. BUT>>the fact that the night clerk felt he could have his own little party right outside our door in the parking lot was not a good thing. He and his buddies blared the music, yelled/sang along loudly, and had girls running up and down the stairs yelling and screaming. the night clerk was also drinking while on the job. This was Saturday night. They started about midnight and were still going strong at 4:30am on Sunday when i called to complain. By then, all the clubs were closed and they were the only ones making noise. Once I complained, the day clerk showed up and everything was shut down. By then, I was so mad and tired, I just checked out and left. I can understand the noise from the clubs and can even tune it out, but this was ridiculous. Now I know why people complain about the noise at this hotel. They need to get a new night clerk, and not allow hotel parking lot parties like that. Imagine drinking and partying while on the job with no regard whatsoever about your hotel guests.
