Always a great time at Las Palomas

We spent a few nights for spring break 2025 and had a great time. The beds were comfy. We thought the water wasn’t working for the showers, so we called the front desk. They told us to pull the handle out, that is how it turns on. The kitchen had what we needed. We loved not having to use the elevator. Loading and unloading the car was easy with a parking spot close to this room!

I really liked the property and the location of the condo, it’s close to the pools and main tower. it was clean and had the things that we needed. The price was reasonably good for being a ground level property. It was clean and everything was working except for a few things that maybe need updated. The sofa bed is not in good shape, it definitely needs to be replaced. It’s broken or just really bent and out of shape. The guest shower lever is loose and needs to be replaced. Despite those couple of things I would definitely stay at that property again. I usually stay at Phase 2, this one is phase 1, which is better for the kids as it’s close to the water slide.

Great location and accurate description

Great and convenient access to all the resort amenities, nice and clean property. Only issue was not related to the property owner and was a resort water restriction issue. Daily water availability was from 8-10am and evening 5-8pm - quite disappointing, but s... happens. Other than that listing is very accurate. All necessities for the pleasant stay are in the unit. Wi-Fi, Netflix, Hulu, cable... etc are available. Property owner responded promptly to the messaged question. I would definitely recommend this property and will look forward to come again.

The ground floor patio was covenant for access to the pool and beach. There was a safety problem with the living room sliding glass door that I notice. The locking tab on the door latch was broken and we were unable to secure the door and it was concerning someone could just slide it open and walk in on us. The patio had broken tiles and the cement bench had a large chunk out of it with rebar showing through. Over all our stay was a 5 but the safety things needed to be addressed.

Great First Floor Location

I picked this unit specifically because it is just so much easier to get to the pool, lazy river and beach being on the first floor. This specific unit is perfectly located in Phase 1 next to the lazy river. I would have given it 5 stars but there were two things that I'd recommend fixing. First, the sewer smell in the laundry room was bad. You get used to it eventually but something should be done. The second thing is the master bathroom toilet has a high pitched sound for about 20 seconds after flushing. This is not ideal when people are trying to sleep. Again, the place and location is awesome. I would stay here again.

Lack of communication with property manager.

I have book many stays through this app and in this destination. I had pretty good communication at the beginning of my booking with the host Jamie. Upon my arrival I had issues with thermostat located in the master bedroom, it turned out that control of that particular thermostat was broken, I called front desk and also massage the host after reporting the incident. The whole ordeal took 4 hours of my vacation to get resolved. Long story short, a third party had to get involved to be able to fix the thermostat since facilities couldn’t fix it . My issue is that this third party left the door to our condo right wide open while we were out having dinner. We had to call the front desk a reported the second incident, that our condo door was left open and unsupervised . The front desk apologized and while I have kept writing to the property manager trying to keep him posted of everything that went down, we still haven’t gotten a response post three days after our stay.

Absolutely a beautiful place to stay! Feel very safe at this resort even with a group of only women. Love the close proximity to the lazy river and pools with a 1st floor condo.
