Lovely property.

Absolutely love this place. Casa Molino is a great quaint place. Although it isn't right in Puerto Varas it is a perfect get away.

Rustic guesthouse with beautiful gardens on shore of largest lake (Llanquihue) in Chile with stunning views of snow capped volcano (Osarno) acrss lake. Great centralized location to explore Lake District.

Disappointing experience

Although the hotel is well outfitted, with a beautiful view over the lake and nearby vulcano , it is located in the middle of nowhere and rather difficult to find. When we arrived rather late at 20.30 hours, because of flight arrival time at Puerto Montt Airport, we were told by the rather unfriendly duty manager (Diego), that we had to order our dinner immediately, otherwise there would be no food available.. We felt that we had no choice, because there seemed to be nothing else in the area. The dinner was of very poor quality: well overcooked meat and dried out salmon. Breakfast the next morning was OK. Surprisingly, other guests entering the dining room well after us, did get a dinner afterall. Our room was small with an even smaller bathroom. We are seasoned, world travelers, but on basis of our disappointing experience, we can not recommend this hotel.

Todo impecable. Desde que llegamos hasta que nos fuimos el equipo se preocupó de atendernos bien. La habitación er increíble con la vista al volcán. El desayuno abundante y las instalaciones muy bien cuidadas. Nos encantaría ir en invierno también

Fascinante para casais. Hotel intimista, decoração perfeita. Staff perfeito. Infelizmente poderá encontrar famílias com crianças, geralmente argentinos, o que diminuirá seu conforto, principalmente no jantar ou café da manhã, que é absolutamente magnifico.

Para quem quer relaxar e aproveitar o visual

O hotel fica a cerca de 10-15 minutos ( de carro) de Puerto Varas à beira do lago Llanquihue e com vista direta para os vulcões Osorno e Calbuco. A qualidade do serviço foi excelente e as habitações muito confortáveis.Ideal para quem quer relax total.

Absolutely beautiful, nice, comfortable and peaceful place to rest, to enjoy the house, the garden, the views. The perfect place to recover from a long trip. I just missed a natural orange juice during breakfast. March 2015.

Not right in Puerto Varas but beautiful!

A family trip to the Lake District in chile. This was mine and my husbands second stay at Casa Molino and we loved it the first time so we included our daughter and son-in-law this time and our stay was equally as nice.

Mala señalización

Lo malo es que al estar en los alrededores de puerto varas, el camino está pésimamente señalizado y además malo. Por lo que uno llega cansado de preguntar por el camino

Cabaña de ensueño

El hotel es una cabaña muy bonita, bastante bien cuidada es muy limpia y el mantenimiento en general es excelente. Su ubicación es distante de puerto Varas pero vale la pena por la vista al lago y a los volcanes. Yo regresaría sin pensarlo

Todo perfecto

El Hotel es precioso. La habitación muy amplia y con unas vistas al lago Llanquihue y a los volcanes espectaculares. Si tienes suerte y el cielo está despejado, puedes ver el amanecer mientras desayunas desde el comedor, con las increibles vistas. El living (con su chimenea) y la terraza cubierta, perfectos para descansar, leer, tomar una cerveza... después de un día de ruta por los alrededores. Se necesita vehiculo propio para poder moverse, el hotel está un poco alejado del centro de Puerto Varas y no hay transporte público hasta allí. El servicio de los recepcionistas (el de turno de mañana y la chica del turno de tarde) que nos atendieron estuvo perfecto. Nos informaron muy bien a todas nuestras dudas. El último día teníamos que salir muy pronto, antes de la hora del desayuno, y sin tener que pedirlo (sólo avisamos con antelación de nuestro horario de partida) nos prepararon el completo desayuno bufet igualmente! Hotel con encanto y tranquilo muy recomendable.

Great hotel but unfortunately the location is poor. It required a 10 minute+ drive down a very poorly keep gravel road. It required some planning to avoid driving down the road to the hotel. Once you where at the hotel it was beautiful.

Osorno

O hotel é muito bonito e acolhedor. Fica num platô na beira do lago, com vista para o Vulcão Osorno e acesso à praia por uma curta escada. O nosso quarto era pequeno, sem ser apertado, e confortável. O pessoal é cordial e eficiente. O café da manhã tinha bem poucos itens, talvez por termos viajado na baixa estação - havia apenas três casais hospedados. Por outro lado, jantamos um excelente talharim com vegetais (somos vegetarianos), na verdade um menu com entrada, prato principal, sobremesa e bebida não alcoólica por aproximadamente R$ 130,00 para dois. O único inconveniente é a distância até o centro de Puerto Varas: 7 km, sendo que parte do caminho por estrada de chão em boas condições. Infelizmente o tempo estava ruim e não conseguimos fazer os passeios programados na região. Numa próxima oportunidade, o Caso Molinos será a nossa escolha, com certeza.

exceptional views

The setting of Casa Molino was exceptional with spectacular views across the lake to Mount Osorno and the adjacent mountain range. The hotel gardens were also beautful and provided a relaxing setting from which to enjoy the stunning views. If you are looking for peace and tranquility at a reasonable price, then this is an ideal spot. There are steps leading down to the lakeside where you can walk along the shore and on hot days, chairs and shades are provided..Overall we thoroughly enjoyed out stay in spectaculawr surroundings.
