Excellent place to stay!! They were really welcoming once we arrived and were always aware in case we needed something. The personnel was really kind and friendly and the zone where Casa Mava is really in the middle of every, so you could go walking everywhere. As well, the beach is really close so we didn’t have ti walk long distances.

There are so many wonderful things about my stay at Casa Mava. The staff was exceptional and super helpful. The property is beautiful and well attended to. The interior of my villa and the entire property was inspiring and relaxing. This will be the only place I stay when I return to Puerto Escondido! I can't say enough about the staff and my experience. All top notch and with so much care!

Very clean and extremely well maintained property. Fernando is the most welcoming host with an extremely welcoming demeanour. I would highly recommend this hotel. Lovely pool area and lounging area.

Beautiful hotel in Puerto Escondido

The hotel is beautiful I really recommend it! Fernando was great he help us a lot gave us good recommendations on restaurants and places to go! our room was beautiful I love the decoration and very comfortable really enjoy it great location we rent it a car it was good for us so we can explore diferente beaches The beach that we have close to the hotel wasn’t good for swimming go to the coral beach that one is really good!

Great spot. Super clean and new and a short beach walk to most anything (15 min Punta 25 min main town). I preferred Punta by far. The hotel does not have a view of the ocean or sunset, but for the price you are getting an amazingly new and nice property. Super comfortable beds, great showers and shower products. Easy to communicate via WhatsApp with staff.

Casa Mava is beautiful. I stayed in room Luis and it was beautiful and clean. The hotel offers so many amenities such as a refrigerator, sink, stove top and a coffee maker. It had everything that you need to go to the beach. Communication was on point, Delfino made check in very easy and he was always communicating with us if we needed anything. My husband and I definitely recommend Casa Mava.

Honestly, one of the best places I ever stayed abroad. The space was beautifully designed, the sheets and bed were super comfortable, it was quiet and away from the noisy crowds. Our room came with amazing touches that elevated our stay such as: beach chairs and towels (great size by the way!), some reusable containers for snacks or drinks on the go and high quality hair and body products. This is definitely a hidden gem that I’ll surely visit again. Thank you!

Exceptional find!

We loved this place. Beautiful architecture and rooms. Very comfortable beds. Excellent location; close enough to walk to plenty of places to eat and drink, but far enough away from disturbing noise. It’s exactly what you see in the photos. And Fernando is an exceptional host as well and provides lots of great suggestions for things to do. Highly recommend this property.

My wife and I have been very excited to go there since we booked it; the reality is way more than we expected. We loved the place, the room, the terrace, the pool, the closeness to the see, the neighbourhood area and the service. The manager of the place was super friendly and always available. Best spacious & clean near the beach

Best place to stay in Puerto Escondido! Super clean, modern, spacious villa. Daily housekeeping service that went above and beyond. The rooftop pool is lovely and super clean. The best hot shower we experienced in the area. A short walk from the beach and they supply beach chairs and an umbrella. The best part is the owner is so friendly and accommodating and goes above and beyond to provide a great experience. Great value for the area as well. A true home away from home and a real gem. I would go back in a heartbeat.

This property was nice and quiet, and the staff were friendly. I would like to mention that the room views are not the best in comparison to other hotels with beach views in the area. Another thing to mention is that the hotel does not offer a bar by the pool to order drinks. It would have been nice to have that option, but other than that everything was great.

Best place in Puerto Escondido

We stayed at CASA MAVA for 4 nights, and it was exactly what we hoped for. This hotel has everything that you'll expect from a luxury boutique hotel and exceeds it. It starts when you walk in... The architecture of the hotel is beautifully balanced, spacious, and well thought out. It was like walking into an oasis. Fernando and Luis made us feel like family during the stay and went over and above to make sure everything was perfect. Also they gave us local tips, recommended drivers, restaurants etc. Super helpful The rooms are beautiful, brand clean and spacious. Every room has its own story. The location is just perfect, right at the beach and just outside the hustle and bustle of the main strip, but still close enough to walk to. We can't wait to return to this gem
