Charming, sun- filled free standing house in a prime location in Ptown's desirable West End. While just a short distance to the heart of town, the location provides guests with a quiet and private retreat! This home originally dates from 1850, has a large, lush garden and has been completely renovated and expanded. Downstairs features an open dining/ living room with cathedral, beamed ceilings, wide-plank antique pine floors, a gas fireplace and a set of double doors that open out to the enchanting garden. There is a separate dining area with a farmhouse-style dining table with seating for up to 8 people. The open kitchen has new, stainless steel appliances, plenty of counterspace and is fully equipped to prepare meals whether it be inside or grilling in the garden. There is one bedroom and one bathroom downstairs with the other two bedrooms and 2 baths upstairs. The second level is sunny and airy with high ceilings and skylights. The upstairs bedrooms both have roomy, en-suite bathrooms. with excellent storage. All bedrooms have super comfortable king size beds and TV's. All 3 bathrooms have shower stalls and are renovated with top-of-the-line finishes. The beautiful, fully landscaped garden features 2 separate bluestone patio areas for dining and relaxing, a dining table for up to 8 people and a separate lounge/seating area. In addition there is a gas grill and an enclosed outdoor shower. Surrounded by hedges and landscaping, the garden has a great sense of privacy. From coffee in the morning, daytime relaxing or evening BBQ and cocktails, the spacious garden is a rare find and a true oasis which guests love! The house has central air conditioning, with separate controls for each room, beautiful wood floors throughout, washer/dryer, cable/ wifi, Sonos Sound System and radiant heated floors in the baths. Parking for up to 2 cars. “Nickerson Gardens” is located on a lovely street in Provincetown's historic West End, which is the part of town closer to Herring Cove beach. It's a few minute walk to favorites such as Relish Bakery & Sandwich Shop, Liz's Cafe, Victor's or Sal's Place Restaurant with beach-side dining on the Commercial St waterfront. It is a 5 minute walk to Mussel Beach Gym and a short walk to the Boatslip. Walk or bike to the beach and anywhere in town! The listing description is definitely accurate. The home is newly renovated so the bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and living area are all very clean, bright, and in excellent condition. We particularly liked how well the bathrooms are appointed with modern showers and vanities. The garden is the largest of any private home I've seen in Ptown. It's well-maintained with a nice variety of plants and shrubs. We'll definitely stay here again. ##### Michael F. The house itself is perfect – comfortable, plenty of space for relaxing, and very thoughtfully designed. Some highlights include the gas fireplace, the super comfortable king-sized beds, the bathrooms (complete with heated floors) and the extremely spacious outdoor space. The house is also in a great location - super close to Relish (one of my favorite breakfast spots) and an easy walk to tea and town. I hope to definitely stay here again in the future! ##### David S. This has been my favorite rental in P-town. The accommodations were top notch and the location couldn’t be better. Each bedroom had a king size bed and its own, beautiful bathroom… hard to find in this town. We loved using the beautiful outdoor space for meals and cocktails. I didn’t need to reach out, as we had no issues, but the hosts were easy to contact. ##### Scott J. The house is very comfortable, with well appointed bedrooms and spacious bathrooms. The garden is beautiful. It has everything you could possibly need for a lovely stay in Provincetown.
